Practicing your job 3 hours a day because all of NA only does that will not cut it. i don't think they will. the few that are willing to try are moving to korea like huk/jinro/fxo/nani/thorzain the rest is happy enough with winning something. the foreigner who will stay outside of korea will have no chance, not even with those progaming houses like eg/reign because they just will lack the structure and desire of the players to practice really really hard. sad story kinda but... at least we will see more epic sc2 games from koreans ![]() That is the only way for them to be competitive, is to train with Koreans. Something that most foreigners cannot do. All of you people saying "lol why u want the bad players to play???" are missing the point. This is why you have tiered leagues in other sports, if there was only one professional baseball league right now then most baseball players would quit because they cannot compete. This doesn't mean they are terrible or don't practice enough, it just means they need to play people on the same level as them for the games to be competitive. If you invite the Yankees to every minor league game, they will win everything, this doesn't mean those minor league teams are horrible. The Koreans being invited to every foreign event which happens over a weekend means they risk little, and have access to all the rewards that foreigners do. So where do the foreigners turn to, especially in NA? Where is the incentive to compete when even MLG is overtaken by Koreans? In turn, a foreigner has little access to Code A because they must live there for a month+ and for only 1500$, Koreans fly in over the weekend and snatch up 5k at MLG, 50k at NASL. What incentive does the minor league baseball player have when he knows he cannot get paid unless he beats the Yankees? Without a tiered division, you eliminate any incentive at foreigners from entering the scene. The barrier to entry becomes too high, cannot be overcome by practical means.

Not enough games! NASL please take this into consideration! You have so many casters yet there are not enough games to cast. A 3 day tournament being decided by one BO3 is not fair to the players or the fans!

Oh dear lord, please show a little bit of respect? A little bit of restraint? A little bit of dignity? It is alright to be disappointed. It is alright to not like something. But what has been shown in this thread, more so than in any other thread that I have seen on TL (and perhaps this is just me not looking hard enough, who knows) is that this community has parts of it that is a huge, festering sore. People like me, new to the site just swearing, starting flame wars, having nothing constructive nor positive to contribute. It might be sad that NASL is struggling so much with production. It might be sad that Koreans are completely outclassing the opposition. But it is truly sad to read the majority of comments in this thread. I agree, but there is a reason this is happening. I have never seen a TL thread like this, and that in itself says something. I feel really terrible for NASL right now. Their hearts and intentions were in the right place. With that said, I feel the same as 90% of the thread posts. Its been pretty damn bad thus far.
