Sure they put alot of effort into getting into the top 16, but so does everyone in the OSL/MSL aswell, and you dont see double elimination there, and no one complains. Having double elimination and tournament brackets works well for short LAN tournaments, but not for big leagues like this imo. If anything maybe they should've played BO5, but that would take alot of time, and I'm just going to assume that they don't have that time at this finals (which could also be asked for I guess..) It goes against the base principles of the league. Incontrol was all about "finding the most skilled player". That's why there is a multi-month league leading up to the finals. Every player has to face multiple players to prove themselves. But then once they get into the finals they only have to win or lose against one player in order to prove themselves worthy to advance? Wtf? If you're going to use a single elimination finals bracket then you might as well use single elimination for the entire tournament so we don't have to sit through months of matches that lose appeal and value very quickly.

NASL had many options. They could hire professionals unrelated to SC2 scene, or they could even hire the Craftcup guys or iCCup people. Hiring your (girl)friends and buddies does not make things look professional at all. It gives people the impression that you rather have your friends working there than provide the customers with a good product, when the NASL started off with everyone raving about it's huge budget. . im flattered you talk about craftcup guys like that ![]() I got a feeling that they didnt test a thing on forehand. Just cut 20k $ and hire some testcrew and run a fake match to see how everything goes... c'mon even I can do that:p

The camera's in the booths. they were at first only showing the hair of the players!!! hasn't atleast ONE guy tried to sit in there and see if the camera was adjusted well? I got a feeling that they didnt test a thing on forehand. Just cut 20k $ and hire some testcrew and run a fake match to see how everything goes... c'mon even I can do that:p Exactly. It looked like no one checked anything. I would have never thought this is a 100K tournament. NEVER!

Sure, they flew all the way here to make themselves looking dumb. You have no clue, wtf. It's not an insult, he just doesn't like to play coinflip ZvZ. In a recent podcast Darkforce said Morrow already has one of the best TvZ's in Europe because he really knows what he is doing, since he plays Z.

I have no problem with any of the casters or interviewers. They tried their very best in a shitty situation. But when someone who is attending the venue to spectate has to go backstage and take over as observer, and also offer suggestions to fix you poor quality audio. You have issues, big issues. The format is also one of the worst i have ever seen. Months of group stages and games down the drain in a best of 3 series? The number of games played needs to be increased, also I think that the structure of the brackets needs a losers or lower bracket as well. Reward the guys who have played for months to get to this stage, dont give them the finger after 3 games. I'm sorry if this sounded harsh, I want this event to go well and I love that you are attempting something like this.
