Because, MLG is just a competition of which Korean wins now. He only beat Losira and July (only in the sense of only 2 players), two Zergs, yes his TvZ is quite awesome. In the Super Tournament he got to the finals on all TvT. Bullshit. MVP of the past two GSTLs great. That's Team Leagues. Not Individual Leagues. They do not correlate.
He's overrated because blind people expected him just roll over this Protoss. But non fan boys would have actually predicted this win, just like b_unnies did.

More recently was runner up in iCCup's last korean weekly.
He's been a beast forever, just has nerve issues. Much like TSL's Puma actually, the latter is playing amazingly lately in online events but still isn't in the GSL

pretty lackluster games tbh. the DT's just got puzzle such a large advantage that it would have been very difficult for him to lose. he could have gone mass charge lots and still probably would have won. very very bad game sense by MMA, but he still has loads of potential.
now sheth has a lucky run, plays Puzzle in ro16 and either Vanvanth or Tails in ro8 and imo San is just as good as puzzle and they are better than vanvanth and tails. so he has a chance to make the semi's

Slumps like these have no Logical explanation other than the Fact that everybody else just got better.
Its more about his opponent start to figure him out than him being in a slump. What MMA is known for? His multi-tasking and drops. If you notice, in game 1 after the DT harrass, Puzzle build cannon in his every base and put some zealots behind the minerals line as well.
In the final of Super Tournament, Polt just doesn't give MMA a chance to go to really late game so he can abuse his multi-task.
To stay alive in Korea, you need to renew very often, I'd say.

Thanks for the insight. You realize that MMA and Puzzle probably have played on ladder alot, so I'd assume that MMA would probably have a better idea of Puzzles playstyle then "NickelMail". It's possible Puzzle doesn't use DT openers on ladder which means that MMA would not expect it - mindgames!
Not saying this is or is not true, but being so short sighted is pretty dumb.

MMA is WAY too studied...... Puzzle hit MMA with early game, probably watch a lot of TvP matchups for MMA and saw that MMA didn't get turrets in time, and even built TONS of cannons and pylons and units in mineral lines to prevent drops. Got BLINK to intercept dropships. Ugh. I can't believe MMA is in Code B. So disappointed.

I think Wolf also talked about how alot of progamers don't use serious builds/cheese alot/offrace on ladder just so that people can't face their "real" styles.
