That was when he started SC2, now it's probably his best matchup. Remember, he did really good vs DRG.

Boxer fell to Code A, Jinro might fall out of Code A, TLO out on medical, Min down to Code B, and MMA down to Code B. =( Ryung and Alicia fighting! You do know alicia is not gonna make it out of his group right ? :D

Slumps like these have no Logical explanation other than the Fact that everybody else just got better. Mindset, mindset, mindset. It's amazing how much a bad mindset can affect your game.

I'm not saying he's terrible, he might be pretty good but what really won the game for him was a lack of turrets from MMA. If he had turrets, MMA might've won pretty easily.

Pro players don't want to spend that money if they don't have to. It's kind of like newbies building lots of cannons at their entrance cause they are scared. Pros would laugh at that, as they see no reason to do so (make turrets). i'm not talking about making a billions turrets everywhere in your basis, but just 1 turret at your entrance that's it. If it was a dt drop like white ra do often, i can understand but it's just some fucking dts who sneak from your main entrance.i love MMA, but i'm so pissed right now because he lost in a pretty bad fashion way, Puzzle control were not that good, he could have won those games.

http://www.teamliquid.net/tlpd/sc2-korean/players/665_MMA MMA is terrible against Protoss. You can't be a dominant player unless you have all 3 matchups over 60%

The format of GSL allows plenty of time for others to study your style and game, and all they have to do is prepare 2-3 games to counter you, while you have no idea how they play. We saw it happen to Fruitdealer, Kyrix, MKP, etc etc. Unless MMA starts mixing up his style like MKP has, he's not gonna get far like this. Puzzle knows MMA's weak early games, so he took the risk, because he knew MMA would most likely not attack him. And it paid off big time. You also see puzzle getting multiple cannons at all his bases. No one really does that unless you know your opponent likes dropping a lot, and he does. Imo, the format of GSL needs to change, as the current format isn't really dividing players into 3 different skill categories. We saw how easily it is for a lower code player beating a higher one, it is almost pointless to say "I'm a Code S" player nowadays.

He's not talking about Boxer's SC2 skill, just how MMA and Boxer have similar backgrounds/characteristics.
