The compLexity Academy's first Qualification Tournament is set to begin on Saturday, June 25th. From the tournament, the final 10 Academy members will be solidified. This compLexity Academy tourney is sponsored by PNY.
The tournament will begin with a group stage, in which all 20 players have been randomly placed. At the end of the group stage, the players from each group with the worst record will be eliminated from the tournament, while the rest will move on. The remaining players will be seeded in a double elimination bracket according to their group record. Record ties will be broken by using overall records (map wins and losses). If a tie still remains, a head to head matchup will determine the winner.

The reason Jhammy qualifies over Jiyan is because the tie breaker is first maps won/loss and then if still tied it goes to head to head. I did this because I wanted the person who performed better in the group to move on. If Jiyan would have won his set vs Jhammy 2-0 instead of 2-1 and they would have had same map win/loss ratio then Jiyan would be moving on. [/spoiler]

I think he wants to play against a zerg. Also I believe that there are protosses in the losers which still have a chance to qualify.

yea from the looks of things some people got through playing like 5 tvp's or only 1 zvz.

Guys I am labeled as a terran player but I am in progress of possibly switching to P. So there is a P in the academy (used them in the qualifiers too).

I just want to thank everyone for playing, and everyone who watched over the weekend! Also want to extend my apologies to those who received unlucky draws.
The next chance to enter the academy will be in roughly 3 months, but for more info on that just check the complexity site from time to time until it's released.
