It wasn't that, it was when they were interviewing the coaches of each team, Artosis called his team 'Team USA' when they had, what, a Canadian, an Australian, some Euros and (I'm gonna get this wrong), a Taiwanese. Then it just became a running joke.

FXO is a sea-based team and since Australia is OBVIOUSLY the major players in SEA, we can claim everyone in FXO. Hell, FXO is probably teaching WeMadeFox our tactics so let's just grab their entire roster too.

Conclusion: There's no way koreans think Huk is Korean. It's just ridiculous. Those who claim Huk is Korean is just trolling here.

That's the charm of English, we have many words for the same thing and words can mean many things. Disclaimer, despite being a native of the the Great Isles that make Britain, my written English is actually terrible. I blame our education system and the fact I am an engineer! Anyway advance can mean to 'make progress' (as a verb'). If you lose a game you cannot progress any further, therefore you cannot advance any further in the tournament. Therefore, logically, every game Huk wins he advances forward.' It is also in a slow and purposeful way, i.e. on step at a time (or in this case, one game at a time). Just because you can't go another direction doesn't mean you can't just stop. Another similar use that is common English is 'to advance ones knowledge' or to 'advance in age' http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/advancing

I think it's a decent enough proof that it's not a matter of nationality but it is very much a matter of training style. Huk without jet lag seems extremely solid, only one that I know could own him is MC tbh, due to playing in the same place. If he keeps his (apparently new found) motivation I can see him doing great for the rest of this year, maybe one day surpassing his master :D. It's not like it's anything new. I assume every player knew that eventually, to be good at this game, one had to stop playing and start working which for the time being the Koreans do best. When the Swedish house starts taking the idea of a pro house seriously we might see results from them also. Same with every other group/team out there, mucking around for 8h a day is not training, goals and focus is what it takes and some won't cut it because it is hard work and they don't want to work for 8-10h a day, they want to have fun playing for 8-10h a day.

Always ready, no missmicro, no missmacro, just pure solid and good play. Always the good move at the right moment, good attack timings, good defense timings. No more febrile like he was 2 GSL seasons ago, just a very good player <3 I'll say again that his play on stream was very good for a long time, but he always disappointed on TV. No anymore !

Hopefully this will convince more top foreigners to try their hand in the GSL and GSTL. Gogo nani, thorzain and sase! (and huk/jinro + fxo ofcourse!) foreigners are too lazy, they prefer the easy money on online invitationals but try a qualify tournament. huk proof hard work bring skill.

Goodbye family and friends, whole lifestyle, bills, commitments/dependents, culture, girlfriend if i have one, country i love... etc etc... I'm just gonna drop everything and move over to a country where i don't speak a word of the spoken language and try and compete for 1 tournament. It will for a long time probably cost me more money than i make but what the hell, there's a chance i might be better for it so it's worth the risk. Well, Huk's investment just gave him a shot at winning Dreamhack so it's not just 1 tournament. There's nothing stopping people from taking the skills they acquire and competing in foreign tournaments. Think of it as a future investment in tournament winnings. Look at Idra. You think he would be doing as well as he does without the time and effort he put in while in Korea? He's basically been living off his training disparity for his entire SC2 career. He only needs 3 hours to maintain his edge over other foreigners. And now he just wants the easy money instead of continuing his quest to be the best.

The key is not the race but where they trained and the top 4 shows that quite clearly.
