Messi plays a Spanish style of football though, even Argentinians say that while Messi is an Argentine national he is a product of Spanish football.
Just like Huk is a Canandian but is a product of Korean Starcraft.
wtf are you talking about Messi is a product of the argentinians football school.
You have no idea wtf you talking about Brazil and Argentina got some of the best football schools in the world.
Jesus crist some of you people just plain silly
barca signed messi when he was 13.
So you got no idea how the argentina schools work. The best players from age 5-6 get recruited into those schools.
Messi was allrdy a wunderkid when he was 13 just like Maradona was when he was 10. just like Ronaldo was when he was 15 and moved to Amsterdam
Plz stop talking about football stick to sc2
yes, those 6 early years obviously has meant a lot more for him than the 11 he have had in spain. lol.
Do you see the sprints nad rythm changes where he breaks the defence? It's a product from La Masia.
yep, seems that drugs are better in Spain than in other countries nowadays (joking aside, it's a real problem in spanish sport, with a bigger extend than most of the other countries)
So you believe Barcelona are doped? Not disagreeing with you, but I think they just pay refs IMO XD
Professionnal soccer is quite silly imo, there is like no control and so much money... Maybe we're going to see a lot of prematurate death in 20years ;D (surely)
Indeed my love for the sport can't blind me from how horrible it has gotten lately. I love watching my childhood club fail time and time again (Feyenoord lol), but with even my beloved premiership falling to money Soccer/Football as a whole is starting to interest me less and less. I really hope the financial fairplay helps, but looking at the recent purchases by clubs I doubt it will.
/off topic Didn't heard a lot about Feyenoord recently :/ Imo the recent purchases are just a reaction to the financial fairplay, last time that you can explode the chart. But anyway, FIFA/UEFA are fine with corruption( lol Qatar/Russia, brackets for the CL and so on) cause there is so much dirty money in soccer. The different agent and cie have such wierd contracts... no way that this is clean.
I feel the urge to complain about semi finals bo3 and no stage matches. I understand dreamhack is more than an event. But the DreamArena stream has a bischu vs morrow match right now. Come on couldn't they put MC vs Bomber there?
No offence to foreingers here but this just prove that Code S quality is much better than other league in the world? Huk in Code S by beating best terrans. He shows why he deserve it here.

Anyone disagree?
I'm not even a fan of Huk and I think he's made a very strong case for that already regardless of the finals results.
He's retained his Code S spot back at the GSL, and has looked a class above any other western player at the event. Would be nice to see him at Anaheim.

Probably.
Who else would have a say? Maybe Naniwa and Thorzain? But Huk is in Code S and is just going to get better and better living with oGs. It's not like Huk is some nobody that popped out of nowhere. It's just that when you have to go against guys like San, Polt, Losira, MMA on a daily basis in the GSL, you might not look as great.
Huk, in the GSL, is a medium sized fish in a gigantic pond.
At Dreamhack, he's a gigantic fish in a medium sized pond.

One match does not a best player establish.
Anyone disagree?
[Note: I am not saying Huk is not the best foreigner. I am saying that I do not think that whether he is the best foreigner depends on whether he wins a single match against either Bomber or Moon.]

Doesn't he even still play some WC3?
Good question, he hasn't played in a WC3-tournament for quite some time so I doubt it.
He signed a very lucrative contract with WMF which did not only include playing games as things he has to do, but also advertising games that WMF or the company behind it produces(like Avalon for example), maybe that takes some of his practice time aswell. But I don't know if he was busy with that lately.

that needed to be proved? thats common knowledge and has been since gsl started.

At this point in time, yes if he beats Bomber. If he beats moon its not clearcut over Nani/Thorzain/Idra for me.
What will be the main focus for me will be his code S run. If he manages to get a top 2 place in his group, he'll be the best foreigner by some margin.

He wasn't born in Korea nor have korean citizenship, there is no discussion, just plain trolling and internet ignorance.
Artosis called it by accident Team America and that's why we joke about this :p
Ahhhhh
lol I'm extremely new to SC2 I've only been into it for like 3 weeks so I only get some things like top 3 control and dont worry thats halo.
The world championship is free to watch on GOM (they even have uploaded VODs with tastosis or Korean commentary, your choice). I really encourage you to watch it http://www.gomtv.net/2011championship/schedule/
