Sadly after all this time with so many tournament threads it still is not clear to many users on this site. There are several types of posts that are not acceptable in tournament threads. Any form of:
Imbalance whine/Player bashing/Caster bashing/Stream complaining
Will result in two day to a week long bans even for first offenses. Please stick to the games at hand and enjoy yourselves with a beautiful event such as this and the free service that comes with it. |

Losira absolutely raped MC. Zergs like Nestea, July would be better and the new generation of zergs like DRG and Line would probably give him headaches as well. Then I'm very worried because Idra has dominated the foreign scene pretty much. Destroyed IPL, destroyed all of his competition in MLG (barring Thorzain). The foreign scene doesn't have much hope to beat Korea if Idra isn't on MC's level. Thorzain beat him, Sase beat him and I'm pretty sure players like Naniwa, Nerchio, White Ra, Dimaga etc would be able to beat Idra. Naniwa and Thorzain are also going to Korea to improve and play in code A. Give them the time and the opportunity and they will be able to compete with anyone. Idra was jetlagged day 1. Said so in interviews, on twitter etc.
None of the players he mentioned beside Sase played him when he was jetlagged.

just thought the same thing. I love how the same situation is interpreted differently by some people.

NICE Huk won! I'm so glad he's doing well. I <3 Liquid. :p
And man, with all the balance whining, I'm so jealous of the mods. They must be having a field day with their ban-hammers. ^_^ Lucky banlings.

In starcraft, korea is a continent of it's own. That's been proven enough.

He screwed it up bigtime for sure with his transition into the game but still.. not microing his units good enough and leaving when he actually got a semi-good chance to get back into the game..that just makes the fans upset. I dunno if he is scared about humiliation but when he leaves as he does in his games he makes people think he is a quitter. And thats worse..Anyways he is a very talented player..but he seriously made alot of fans wait for practically nothing at all. NesTea would never leave in such a state of the game at least.
I always said SEn is the best non KR Zerg there is and it wouldnt suprise me if I see him winning the whole shit now..I hope he beats July next. What are you talking about? It was pretty obvious idra was going to lose game 2. There was a huge amount of blink stalkers and immortals against idras roaches and few hydras without range. He played a good game, but MC had a great build with a great transition and great control. Also I think you forget MC 2-0'ed sen as well.
There was one immortal, and it was stuck in the back for awhile, until halfway into the fight, when the stalkers started blinking back.
idra had the advantage until his roach push, which failed, roaches got picked off 3 or 4 at a time, and even on the retreat, rallied roach/ling got sniped. So MC took advantage of these opportunities. If idra sniped the one observor, maybe he could've held with burrow micro until enough hydras got out. It's not like his economy was touched, except for the one dt, who got 5 drones.

Wouldn't make a difference because pretty much every decent NA player except for Kiwikaki competed at that tournament. And EU did better than NA at MLG and also at the NASL, which are both NA tournaments. EU is way better in SC2 than NA; I don't even see how there are people out there who still doubt this.

Biggest question for me is wtf happend to Jinro? He doesnt practice anymore?

Don't generalize, especially when it's not true.

There is no possible way that there will be a Korean only finals. Looking at the brackets we will have 1 foreigner in the finals 100%. So all the whine about "all koreans" should stop.
It will be the case because DH make the brackets so. :/

Wow.... I think I seriously underestimated Moon. Or else the Korean gap is much larger than I thought. I always viewed him as an, at best, average Korean pro.
And please, stop with the ZvP whine. As numerous people have already pointed out, stalkers are stronger than roaches (and should be due to their respective costs) and have the same supply. Blink stalkers pretty much hard counter roaches with good micro. Massing 1 unit is a good strategy if that unit is the counter to your opponent's 1 unit mass. Simple.
