What is the "on standby" status of places 5-8 ? Did you update the rules mid tourney to not have 8 Korean powerhouses in NASL ? I'm confused. (even if my assumption is totally wrong, I would appreciate an answer on the first 2 questions) We're looking into a small change to our format, which is why we've made the change from guarantee of 8 to guarantee to 4. We're planning on dropping the number of players in the league to 45, rather than 50. This is the reason for the change. What will happen to the 46th player then? Also, why did certain players get banned?
Nani isn't playing next season, so there isn't a 46th player.

Polt coming up hmm damn i already watched the uploaded Replays -.- ^^

I don't know what's more ridiculous, the fact that AxelToss is not allowed to cast famous Korean players on the day that games happen, or that he IS allowed to cast a game between Poltimus and Heart.

Did you notice, ST_Trickster?

Hahahah this game is hilarous :D 3 harvesters and 2 banshees and he's still in game

The most random gg timing ever.
Excluding Idra.

Rules say it was a 256 man tournament (I know that differs from binary beast's setup) but either way I imagine all the Koreans signing up scared away a lot of the masters/diamonds/plats that signed up for the open. You are going to have to be a beast to make it through this bracket.

typical korean TvT 1 tank 1 banshee 5 marines vs 2 tanks 1 hellion 4 marines + scvs. lol. Way better than 200 vs 200 a-move fights xD

I think that when you are below very top master, you don't play such a tournament to win anyway. Actually, being mid-high master, i'm playing cups to get the opportunity to play good players.
Whatever. Don't you find it strange, every tournament where koreans take part online there are only one or two teams sending lots of players (here oGs and ST, in iCCupWeekly NsHS, ZeNEX and TSL, ZeNEX alone in TLOpen) ??

If you missed the Open Tournament Replays from the Ro8 and onwards, I've finally uploaded em! Enjoy:

I don't think they've played yet.

I think there were several teams represented this time. oGs, Slayers and ST all sent several and you have to remember TSL already sent 5 members through the open so they couldn't compete in this one. The did have their few stragglers in it though. There were also a couple Primes including the biggest one, MKP. FOu also has 3 or 4 in this one so many of the big Korean houses are here. I think it's been a lot better than many of the other tournaments.
Edit: Will tomorrow be both the rest of Ro128 and Ro64 or will the tournament be returning to it's original schedule (effectively making Ro128 two days).

Besides Nestea and MVP every big Name Korean is playing in this tournament. or already qualified for NASL. Doesn't look like IM is all that interested in attending foreign tournaments. Ok Bomber and DRG aren't playing as well but other than that everyone is here.
|
Why is this match being streamed lol
|
two taiwanese have to play each other so early? lame :/
|
Only top 4 qualify so not sure why everyone is complaining why xyz have to meet so early. I suppose it slightly decreases the odds of top players surviving until RO4, but for the player it doesn't matter if their tough match is in RO128 or RO8.

Sagacity Invitational
Pretty much all of the IM powerhouses entered, and MVP is in the finals (which he probably won, although we still don't know the results).
Starswar 6
Both NesTea and MVP entered. MVP couldn't play due to scheduling issues.
On a related note, it seems like NesTea keeps on getting bounced out of these online tourneys in the Ro32. I don't know if it's due to latency or something else, but I think it might be a contributing reason on why he doesn't sign up for more of these online events.

Looks like people should've joined the Open tourney instead - way easier to qualify for NASL in that one compared to this killer bracket. :p
