Do the math, 6:5 is better than 7:6 - not that it should matter tho, Idra won the direct confrontation and that should actually count if both are +1. Everything else would be stupid.
Actually the result of the match between those two should be the first deciding factor imo, because it's not a league, where the score difference tells us a lot more due to the fact that they played a lot more games.

(Not a some balance shit, just statistics) Good job. That explains why the Protoss are on top all over the place. Big advantage in PvT at this tournament (could just simply be where the metagame is at the moment). Or it could be down to the two best Protoss (MC, Naniwa) having played 10 games and the two best Terran (Bomber, Thorzain) having played 2 games. tbf still got white-ra and huk games to go which should bump toss stats some more.
There just aren't a lot of top tier terrans at DH, whereas almost all the top tier tosses are there.

im a terran player and with MC/Naniwa/HuK completely raping all terrans it skews the statistics a bit, although tyler has played as well

Stop acting like idiots all of you. Since they have the same amount of points (9) and the same "goal" difference (+1) Idra advances due to beating Grubby in their match up. Dont you people watch any professional sport at all, thats how it works in football or anything else.

Terran needs to perform a lot of multi-pronged, small attacks which requires a bit of multitasking. Koreans are used to that style because they've mastered it with BW. Most foreigners on the other hand, never really played BW competitively and SC2's easy interface allows them to group their entire army on 1 or 2 control groups. They are not playing the race to its true potential because of this.

Quick! someone tell me the games that MC casts!!!!

But then again Bomber can probably do that too.

Or you could just read the damn rules. http://master.dreamhack.se/DHS11/files/2011/06/DHS11_SC2_RULES.pdf
It's also pretty obvious why a 7:6 player losing a spot to a 6:5 player would be a truly stupid way of doing tie-breaks. Read this closely: "Losing 0-2 is more valuable than losing 1-2". If you want a tournament that works that way, you're not going to have another, because that's a really stupid way of doing it.

The number of wins shouldn't matter at all. One player went 2-1 1-2 while the other went 2-0 0-2, that is the only difference between those scores. Head-to-head should decide.

Nope. If there's one thing I know about statistics and graphic art, it's that scaling small things to large sizes has no impact on their clarity.

Dreamhack corrected the Lalush - Fury score on their bracket, but they did no change to Grubby's 2nd place.
I'm pretty sure they are aware that they have Grubby on 2nd place, so I doubt it's a mistake.

They're leading the Grubby fanboys on for the lulz.
