We will be moderating harshly in this thread. Think twice before you post. Things we are watching for: image macros, balance whining, "eagles", player bashing etc. We encourage civil and reasoned critique of our moderation - please post it in the website feedback forum.
Please don't complain about MLG stream quality or MLG itself. They work very hard to provide you with an enjoyable service.
Enough with the racism discussions, this is a LR Thread. Cut it out. -- updated 7:55 KST |

Regardless, either format wouldn't have mattered in that situation. Nice try though. That was a cute comment.
Extended series is stupid. It had no effect on Thorzain vs Select though, with it Thorzain won 2:1, without it Thorzain wouldve won 2:1. In MC vs TZ tho, with ext. Series Thorzain lost 2:2, without it Thorzain wouldve won 2:1.

Iam platinum myself and even I would go for Colossi or at least HT but no Upgrades and no Support units ?..... Maybe that is why your platinum. MC is without doubt one of the best Protoss here, I'm sure he knows what he is doing. Instead of thinking that you know more than him, try watching his games and learn.

He's one series away from finally playing against MC and Moon might be taking that chance away. Everybody talks about playing against their idols, but I would be willing to bet Naniwa would rather play against Moon for an easier chance at a Code S spot. If he gets that, he can have this chance to play against MC in the GSL.
There is no code S spot for this MLG because Code S is already established. The code S spot goes to the winner (or 2nd or 3rd if winner doenst accept or is Korean) of the next MLG.

Lol. I love hearing lesser players who spend most of their time not practising talking smack about superior players. Always makes me smile
Huk and Idra are barely "lesser players"

it was almost the same map pool in dallas and there was 1 zerg in the top 8 (7th). Replace scrap with tal'darim and replace crevasse with typhon.

Idra vs Slush
Starting soon on blue stream

Moon needs to lose this so we can get MC vs Idra rematch

Moon definitely plays better outside of korea, he should live with Select.
Edit: Nice joke under me.

Why did the crowd just cheer? Something on Blue stream?

I can't fathom MC choosing Metalopolis.

If Moon wins, Naniwa would be up 2-0 because of extended series..I'm sure he's rooting for Moon.

(Don't say the terrible baneling mines) They have no idea what they are talking about. He dropped out of Code A two seasons ago so it's easy to look at that and assume that he sucks. But all I see is him beating renowned players in foreign tournaments. He might've improved or he might've had a bad day in his up-down matches but he's clearly a great player. Not as good as the top tier Koreans but good enough to take games off them once in awhile.
It's not that simple. He really is not that impressive at all in the korean scene, and you can see him making pretty big mistakes more often than the best koreans, but for some reason he seems to play really well in foreigner LAN events.
It wasn't a single event in Korea, I don't think he even had a good run over there.
