Okay we're going to start cracking down on people bashing players for no reason. You don't have to like every player, but at least show some respect. (as of page 402) |

yesterday they had a raw 8 hour stream up for red and blue. unfortunantely that doesn't seem to be the case today, because i can't find it anywhere. I would LOVE to see mc vs thorzain, if someone could just tell me if it was cast on red or blue that wouzld already help. atm it looks like you can watch the stream from yesterday, but without the ability of skipping ahead

A little bit dissapointed the Koreans do so well but that was expected.
Huh? Dissapointed that the Koreans do so well?
Why dissapointed?

man im kinda scared if MC plays idra again, its gonna be hard to comeback from 0-2... And if MC vs thorzain, hes up 2-0 so MC should clean him up.. those games were really 1 sided..

Probably because in sporting events and .. well anything competitive you root for country first, then team or player second. For some reason it seems like that applies to everything except for e-sports. I guess it's because nerds don't understand that concept.

You forgot extended series... Yeah, I'm pretty confused too Never understood why MLG making this so damn complicated either. I have a hard time following. its actually not complicated at all but it is very hard on the players who have to play a million games :D just look at the charts or each individual bracket and see the progression of a player. For example July: He started in open bracket -> advanced to Pool Play for a chance to get into the Winners Bracket -> Did not rank high enough in Pool Play and was sent to Losers Bracket -> In the Losers Bracket he has to win X amount of games to advance to the final Championship match Note: X amount of games is determined by how well he did in Pool Play. Hope this helps.
Thanks for explaining

There's no official list, but I have been collecting and organizing them http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=229930
BTW, the way the bracket plays out, there's only maximum of 3 koreans possible in the Top 6.

wow another really bad performance by tlo .. seems he is fading away, sad, liked his style

I find it confusing as well, so they say that the losira vs naniwa and idra vs mma (or is it the other way around?) games are the semifinals but then there is the losers bracket as well so its not actually the semifinals (or wait its the semifinals of the winners bracket i guess , i think im starting to get it) So those 4 players i just mentioned are in the semifinals of the winners bracket, now if say losira and mman win do they play each other and the winner of those 2 plays in the grand finals, or after that do they play the semifinalist of the losers bracket, also since mma and losira and undefeated couldnt they lose and still go down to the losers bracket and make their way to the finals that way (although i dont see how either of them would even lose 2 games considering its the semifnals already)
ahhh so confusing i answered one of my questions only to reveal 3 more hahahaha

we should look at why the koreans are so successful. The approach to training are so much different. They are playing sc2 like a job and train professionally. The Koreans that are in MLG might be top few. People can argue that the top foreigners are not present. But just look at the amount of Koreans who are getting better. MMA had just arrived in sc2 not so long ago. All the players in the slayers team are improving everyday as we speak. So many other teams in Koreans are investing in new players. foreigners need to start approaching the game like they do, or at least model after them.

I do. that would be sweet, maybe it would make the foreigners practice much harder to step their game up, cause koreans are going to be at every MLG now.
