was clearly stated fromt he beginning this is a NA tourney. so too bad for you sir. join a EU tourney

yes that is why they had qualifiers for EU and KR, just to say "haha we NA players are the best" is that it ?

After how long if the opponent is not checked in and not online at the scheduled match time 8Central, 9Eastern my time does he forfeit and I can report a forfeit win?

You have to wait at least 15 minutes to submit a forfeit for no show. (Looks like I might have to, first noshow of the tourney for me so far!)

just confirmed my entire group is inactive. anyone else in the same boat with 7 forfeit wins in group play ?

Really? why sign up for a tournament if you are not going to show up? just about ready to rack up 3rd forfeit win. Its too bad, I really wanted to play against people outside the ladder...My only opponent so far was rated in masters, and as I am in gold, and it was a PVP I learned one thing... I'm not as good as masters level Protoss.

2 players I think unless your group is too small and its narrowed down to 1.

I have also been having inactivity problems in my group. I have one bye and four forfeit wins already. I have not played a single match yet.

i just got an email telling me i have a match sunday with someone who isnt even listed in my group and who doesnt appear on the top bar. Any explanations?

So far doing pretty good in my group and only one player inactive. Hope I will get cast, but I doubt it. Goodluck to everyone, I'm really glad there is an amateur side to this competition this time.

Yeah, makes it fun. Unfortunately, my group is mostly inactive... And they aren't very good to begin with, I'm the only masters in there; the rest are plat to diamond.

Chances are your opponent is one who was removed for inactivity. It sounds like the match email system didn't catch up to the removals the admins have been doing.
Of course, that's not 100%, so your best bet would be to contact the admins to make sure there's not something you're missing. Better safe than sorry.

Can't stress this enough, if you are having problems and need help please use the Support page on the Geforce tournament website. This forum thread is not a way to contact an admin or ask for assistance on scheduling or forfeit wins/losses.

Well if admins are telling the truth about 3 forfeit Losses and you are out then im about to go 7-0 to FFW only . . . was really hoping to be able to play some games in first round
But i am 5-0 already and 3rd in my division behind a guy who is 2-2 ( who i have FFW on ) and someone else who is 4-1 and his only loss is to me which is another FFW loss. I gonna assume this is just some sort of mistake in ranking on CEVO's part.
But at least 2nd round will be full of active players

yeah i would say pretty clearly you should be ranked first lol. thats not your fault at all and would be awful to get screwed out of a spot like that

The results page is really awkward to navigate, and it doesn't say who won the forfeited matches. Wish all the results were on one page.

one game has been played in my group so far
the other guy is placed last, due to his loss against me. even tho he is 2-2 in total.
