What about the question to why you do not announce W/O precast instead of pregame, would be appreciated. Or does an answer to this grant to few opportunities to sarcasm? W/o should have been announced. We discussed it and it was supposed yo happen no idea why it didnt

I support you iNcontroL! Stuff happens, sporting venues on TV aren't always perfect either! Thanks for all the hard work and I know I'm looking forward to watching the games whenever they will be released.
My recommendation for anyone that doesn't want this to happen/wants to catch up on the games is to purchase the HD Pass because you can go back and watch the games on your own time. It's fantastic.
Keep up the hard work NASL Crew!

If you were able to be posting explanations in this LR thread rebutting the issues you could have also told all of us who were waiting that the Artosis match wasn't happening, since everyone in the LR thread was discussing the fact that they wanted to see Artosis and didn't know how long they had to wait for.

who won the last 2 matches ?

Can anyone enlighten me on the remaining results of Day 8-1 that were never posted?

WTF! Are the pc bangs open at 5am? Sucks for Artosis.. Just saying... you are in the North American STAR LEAGUE. Bit of effort or don't apply??? True, but you also have to think of the player. Does he really want to play under bad conditions and have his game be judged by the community or just give a walkover for his opp? If I was Artosis I would probably give the walkover as well.

I disagree, rather play bad than lose without playing. The community will judge you anyways, ignore what they're saying.

Thanks, thats all.
NASL is still the most enjoyable tournament out.

Please, please, please announce walk-overs/cancelled/postponed games on the website to avoid wasting people's time. During pre-show isn't good enough because it's easy to miss and gives people little time to change their plans if they only intended to watch a specific matchup, which then ends up cancelled.
Please do announce it on nasl.tv as soon as you know. I love the NASL, but I was a bit pissed off when the above scenario happened to me. Something like this should be very obvious and very little work in order to care for your customers better.

I really think you guys are too hard on them sometimes. I mean this tournament has 50 players and streams 5 days a week for about 3-4 hours. That is probably second only to GSL tournaments in terms of content. Yes the stream sometimes dies, I am sure the NASL crew is looking at the issues now and will fix most of them come next season. Constructive criticism is always welcome but saying "Fuck you NASL" it does not do anybody any good nor does it help them improve anything.
And no, we are not entitled to anything, not even the free stream.
Sometimes it is very disappointing when people like iNcontroL and Gretorp and others from NASL put a lot of work just to be met with a lot of hate from watchers because the stream dies (I assume most of the time for reasons out of their control).

There are some crazy implications for this group next week.
Moon vs. Fenix Sheth vs. Morrow
+ Show Spoiler +Standings as of now: Morrow (7-1 with 8 points) Moon (6-2 with 8 points) Sheth and Fenix (6-2 with 7 points each)
So let's go over the combinations: Moon + Morrow win = they qualify If Morrow loses and Moon wins, Sheth and Moon qualify If Morrow loses and Moon loses, Sheth and Fenix qualify If Morrow wins and Moon loses, Morrow and Fenix qualify.
Each of these players control their own destiny. The score doesn't even matter at this point, because of the odd scenario where Sheth and Fenix are behind by only a single point. If the scores are 2-1 for Sheth or Fenix, Morrow or Moon goes down to 7 points while Sheth or Fenix go up to 8 points.
Next week may be the most important week that NASL ever has. This is actually insane.

I dont know whos updating the liquibets but there is a mistake with TLO and Fenix, isnt it ?
|
NASL needs a facelift for next season
i hate not being told about w/o. TELL PPL IN THE BEGINNING. no common sense with this nasl crew, i like the idea of the tournament, but the casters and production crew are terribad.
(tune into SOTG to watch incontrol bash paying customers)
Morrow ling only play was good, though grubby didnt learn 3* games (he won the first game very LUCKY, but lost his whole army so fast) in a row that his strat isnt going to work vs morrows strat. how grubby got into this tournament, no idea. but atleast he didnt bailout like artosis and painuser did, he went out with a little bit of class.

but atleast he didnt bailout like artosis and painuser did, he went out with a little bit of class.
Respect lost for all who do not finish this tournament without an extremely valid excuse. Given the hot debate regarding who should be let in in the first place, dropping out because things are going bad is pretty unacceptable.

They are constantly trying to improve, and the broadcast is leaps and bounds better than what was produced on week 1.
It's one thing to constructively criticize and hold them accountable... its completely another to say stupid shit like "ROFL NASL TRASH GARBAGE, WHO WOULD PAY 25 BUCKS FOR THIS".
Would you rather live in a world where it didn't exist completely? Instead of shitting on it, if you have a problem don't buy the VODs until you're satisfied with what they are putting out. But as long as its free you have no reason to complain.
And even if you have paid, 25 bucks is NOTHING for the amount of entertainment you're getting. A movie costs 12 bucks these days. This is literally 100 times the content for the cost of 2 movies...
Paying to watch SC2 is some of the best money spent. It's so cheap on a per hour basis... You're literally paying cents per hour to watch the NASL or GSL...
I'm sorry but who are you to blindly defend everything they are doing? Just because something is free we have no reason to complain? So if the water fountain you take a drink from is unclean does it not matter because it's free? No, the fact is that even free services are held to a certain standard. People have been very forgiving as far as NASL goes, but it's the 8th week and certain aspects still feel very amateur
And the whole "25 bucks is NOTHING" argument is really grinding my gears. If it's NOTHING why do they even charge it? Because it's not NOTHING, that money is instrumental in going towards improving the league. If the league was (noticeably, at a glance) improving I don't think people would be upset, but as it is there seems to be bi-weekly problems that have been happening since day 1.

I'm sorry, what units do you suggest he harass with when his entire army is dedicated to defending his main and two naturals from mutas? Moon played it great, there were very few things Kiwi could have done, and harass wasn't one of them. First and foremost he should have scouted for extra bases far from the zerg main base so he is actually aware of them. This can be done with a probe to be able to be able to warp in a proxy pylon would need be. Now, against a mutalisk zerg you cannot misplace your entire army to kill a far-away hatch. What you can do is warp in a couple of zealot to harass the drones and possibly take out the hatch, you will at the very least give yourself some breathing room by distracting the enemy force. Harass is normally the correct counter to over extension.
lol.
It didn't matter if he scouted those bases he couldn't do anything about them. What do you suggest he scout with, a probe? Moon would have killed it the second it went into Xel Naga range. How do you suggest he get zealots to those bases? The magical teleportation fairy? Face it, the Mutas forced a contain and Moon played it out perfectly. Please don't try to give poorly thought out silver level advice to one of the top NA protoss.
