Sky's achievement is quite impressive. I think hes at least on par with Moon and Grubby cos he participate in way less tourney than the others. Being a Chinese really makes it hard for you to travel around the world to attend tourney. Event a few years back when WCG was held in the US, no Chinese players were allowed a visa. If it's about "nation pride" or not is totally irrelevant to the discussion, doesn't make it harder and even if it did make some players try harder, the player pool is the most important factor for me when it comes to determining a tournament's worth, thats all.

If you are lucky enough your opponent can already be eliminated and give you a freewin while the game before this same guy could have cost u 2 yellow cards + 1 injury or a loss ![]()

The players treat it a lot more seriously because WCG in WC 3 is like their most prestigious tournament. Hence you might see someone slump all year long because he's taking it easy, but suddenly come WCG time he's back and training hard. Lyn and Moon are kind of like that. They've made the switch to SC 2 but come WCG time they go back to playing WC 3. No, it's not even close to the hardest wc3 tournament, maybe it is these days, when there's in fact no tournaments around.

If you had actually seen who he had beaten in the past to reach the past 3 grand finals, then yes, those were precisely the top players around in the game already. WCG is of course not the hardest WC3 tournament around (there are tons of them in China), but prior to Sky advancing to the finals this time round, Grubby was the most accomplished player in WCG.
