Except Thorzain, under the exact same circumstances, kept his cool and didnt rage.

And Naniwa was under a lot more stress with Thorzain still being the underdog + having won the last three games in a row. Naniwa was tilting pretty hard at that point. Sure, commend Thorzain for keeping his cool, but he wasn't in the same situation as Naniwa and Naniwa has all the right in the world to tell a lagger to get out of a game that is worth that much money.
A sound mind in a sound body, is a short, but full description of a happy state in this World: he that has these two, has little more to wish for; and he that wants either of them, will be little the better for anything else.

come on guys, give naniwa a break
he played a very important game and chill lagged
all he wrote was
"CHILL GET OUT", in capital letters
I mean he obviously wanted him to leave, but that is completely his right

and for the afterparty, I don't know but Thorzaine wasn't in the situation that he lost (in fact he just won, so he most likely was in a good mood, so its easy to say, "yeha I would have definitely come")

naniwa he did nothing wrong
his nerves played a trick on him, falmed nobody
he just didn't want to go celebrate and drink after a loss...big surprise there

While I completely understand Naniwa not going to the party, I definitely can see Thorzain going. I mean, they seem to have completely different attitudes. It's not like Naniwa is evil for deciding to do the opposite; just different people do different things, and react differently.

In the last game, with that much god damn pressure, I wouldn't blame him even if he was way worse than that. Then not going to the party I'd find kind of expectable.

I think it's interesting to observe the differences between how Naniwa and Thorzain handled the lag episode.

Forget about how it happened, because it could have happened a thousand different ways.

Yes, Naniwa is under pressure and he just lost 2 in a row. However, given his reaction it's almost as if he thought this was some show match with 20 random spectators in it. Does he not realize that the reason he has a shot at 15k is because there's thousands of fans out there wanting to spectate, and that there needs to be commentators bringing the action to the fans? Does he not realize that it's not up to him on whether Chill should leave or not?

There wasn't actually anything wrong with what he said. I just find that it gives everyone an insight into his personality and makes him come off as a sort of cranky spoiled kid. It makes me dislike him as a player, and makes me like Thorzain more.

there is so much fail in this post, i dont even know what to say. cranky spoiled kid because he told the lagger to leave with so much on the line and in a tense situation like this? youre dissing naniwa when at the same time, a 9year old like idra has so many fans for being an immature ahole? saying ''chill get out'' does not, in any way conceivable, show disrespect to the fans and the spectators. think before posting and this site may become a better place.

WTF is wrong with u guys?? I am a thorzain fan, but Chill was causing the lag, thorzain is the one who paused the game, obviously wanted chill to leave too, its just that naniwa is the 1 to point it out so that they can continue the game smoothly. what is wrong with that?? it is not bad manner at all, thorzain dint say it out and naniwa helped him say it, thats all. chill wants to get involved in this, we know, he has good casting, so its not his fault either, its nobody's fault. its such a small matter, y cant people just get over it and enjoy the games?? =.= and about not going to the party, come on!!! have u seen football players fighting in a football match after the finals?? instead, what naniwa did is he went to congratulate thorzain. and yet u all expect him to celebrate thorzain's win over him?? WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS COMMUNITY??? zzz

I think one nice extra detail to Thorzain winning is that he was the first to take down a Korean. It was such a huge deal when he won and almost no one saw it coming. After that when more Koreans lost it didn't seem as special, and that maybe Thorzain didn't have it so bad since he was against Fruitdealer and not (for example) MVP or NesTea, but then of course he came back by destroying Tyler and then MC. What a complete shock that he won...

Yes a lot was on the line, but the same can be said for Thorzain, and it's not just some random "lagger", this is one of two important commentators who are bringing the action to the fans, without which there would be no TSL to begin with.

Also, where did I say he disrespected the fans? What does Idra have to do with this? If you want to argue against my opinion at least try and actually address the point.

I feel Chill should have left the game right away, even if he was a commentator. The players' comfort is more important, and Day9 is fine for a solo caster, Chill knows this. Seemed to me like Chill felt above leaving until the second time he lagged, which is a douche move. He shouldn't have risked it in the final match of a close series like this. That match may have played out differently if there wasn't a second spike right before Nani's big push to mess up the mindset. This is coming from someone rooting for Thorzain that game btw. Don't be a noob next time Chill.

Just finished watching the vods.

Amazing series with so many solid games. Thorzain really showed us something special with his run. Beating a series of great players and taking out naniwa when he seemed unbeatable.

Gratz to him. He has a new fan! And without a single thor!
