Watching the games now on youtube and I just realized that every single game is completely memorable and an instant classic, regardless of some mistakes that the players may or may not have made.

Holy shit, this series man. This series.

No idea how TL gets so lucky. Maybe it's just a testament to the way they organize their tournaments, the qualifiers, and so on. They just end up with the most amazing players playing the most amazing games.

It's not luck. It's destiny.

Erm... the invitees failed hard time, while TLOpen winners proved to be the best, so the pre-organization wasn't the best possible. I hope for TSL4 there will be much less invitees, if any. (except the three seeds from TSL3, ofc)

Yeah, I think it's a testament to how a qualification system is superior to an invite system. It's better to have players get in by merit rather than reputation.

I think the mix is good. The invitees are there to add excitement and legitimacy.

I'd be very mad if I was the loser of this event, no matter who it happened to be. A force outside your control made artificial game conditions out of the blue. Imagine in a chess game if someone started talking in the middle of it and told you to wait to make moves. That is what happened.

It could of even been done intentionally (not saying it was just it could of been) to create issue.

Granted I think TL should of had the casters live at the event as well all in the same place. Casters on machines controlled by TL. So overall it's Chill fault and TL staff fault for allowing the setup to happen how it did. It has now been shown that you cannot trust casters to understand the technology they must be hand-held and watched to ensure they follow the rules.
This is how it is done for other casters in other sports and for a reason the caster is there to cast not to deal with complicated internet technology and rule comprehension.

Holy shit I gotta watch these right now *-* I'm perfectly fine with spoilering myself, and the results just made me yell out "Holy Shit!"

I just got my masters degree today, and this is a much better gift than my $900 class ring.

I nearly pissed my pants like 6 times, especially in game 7. Though I don't care for SC2 very much, I love to watch Thorzain play. The finals was seriously amazing. Big thanks to TL and PokerStrategy for making such a great event. I was very happy with the ending!

If you think having IRC open will cause your computer to lag than you should get off the internet, it's not a good place for you.

I actually think it's Karma. TL does a lot for this community without asking much in return and it seems like they luck out with way more than the average number of epic series' throughout their various events (and not just in the finals either!).

what makes this series so good.......no boring macro games where you see ridiculous stuff like mass suiciding scv's, or morphing 30 spine crawlers just to get rid of drones and spend some minerals, or killing off your own units, or massive armies just dancing with each other instead of fighting. No player was ever able to comfortably sit on a 3 base eco.

I'm still eagerly awaiting the VOD for the intro, where they summarize the road to the TSL finals.
