he just played better in the last game.
Very nice EMPs, while nani was too greedy to split his sentrys, or to get blink/charge, weapon/armor upgrades or even a 4. base while he contained Thorzain...

Hot_Bid specifically told us to close anything that could lag. I rebooted my computer and shutdown my laptop to make sure I didn't lag. I had IRC open because I liked to see the feedback. I honestly never thought it could be a potential lag source which was simply an oversight. You shouldn't get shit for having IRC open because there's no way that was causing the lag unless a dedicated attack is going on by a person with a botnet in a channel you are in. I find it amazing people still don't understand that the Internet is just very fragile if you need an uninterrupted connection. ISPs are rebooting routers for update and changing routes all the time so random lagging while routes re-establish is a given and there's nothing you can do about it. The way people assumes all lag is client-end pisses me off. Yeah, seriously, people talking a lot on IRC in no way should lag your internet so hard that you need to leave the game. IRC by itself runs on such a low requirement of bandwidth anyway.

Lots of people in IRC don't cause lag. That's an absolutely miniscule amount of bandwidth.

Lag did not cause nani to lose game 7, nani losing game 5,6 caused him to lose game 7. all in all though, absolutely amazing series, both players lived up to the hype, and even better, I predicted 4-3 T-Zain. GREAT TOURNY TSL!!!!!

Listen guy, you keep harping on this and its apparent you're upset that the player you were supporting lost. YOU cannot know if it affected Naniwa more or less, you have no idea unless you were there and in Naniwa's head at the time. The facts are both players experienced the same thing, and it's up to them to deal with it. Besides that fact, chill's lag was completely irrelevant, neither player lost a unit or extremely important positioning due to it. Get over the fact that the player you were rooting for threw the game away after having a ~30 food lead. Stop making excuses and blaming external factors, Naniwa had 3 chances to close out the finals anyway if anything it's his fault for losing 3 in a row...
