+ Show Spoiler + Why Inca decided to go DTs in every game when it became clear that Nestea knew the timings for all DT builds is beyond me

Players like NesTea proove that it's all about gameplay, he also prooven that Day9 was right with 'game is still evolving' part. Also I had this fun screenshoot from NASL and had to use it ![]() + Show Spoiler + ![]()

Sure the games were one sided, but just as Day9 pointed out, its usually those games that you get the most value out of. I was blown away by Nesteas perfect read in all the games. It looked like he really got inside Incas head. All Inca did failed. Big thanks to GomTV for a awesome GSL May tournament. And big thanks to Nestea for showing some super awesome games and crisp timings. Honestly there's no value that can be taken out of this final, it was pretty much Inca trying the same thing all 4 games and losing the same way in all 4 games.

If you want to watch someone completely rolling over his opponent these games are for you. Inca just had no response and played pretty poorly. It was even worse than that, Inca didn't even give himself a chance to win, he did the same build 3 times against an opponent that was clearly prepared for it. I mean Nestea would have won anyway but with those builds there's not a Protoss alive on the planet that would have taken a game off Nestea. Really? DT rushed 3 times?

DT rushed 3 times? they wernt rushes, they where to sto nestea expo and to put pressure on early, its a shame a unit which takes SO long to get out and costs so much can be made useless by a super cheap and easy to build spor crawler lol and then he insta loses because mobile detection is easy to get and arcons are still awful.

I mean Nestea would have won anyway but with those builds there's not a Protoss alive on the planet that would have taken a game off Nestea. Really? DT rushed 3 times? Game 1 = 2gate expo, trying to go up to 4gates. No static defence and gets demolished by the roach/ling timing Losira did vs Alicia Game 2 = DT expand, NesTea reads him like a book and it does nothing. Inca tries to attack with Archon Zealot but lets his units split up so 2 free Archons wander into NesTea's base to die to roaches while doing nothing. Inca dies shortly after to 2base Roach/ling aggression (with a third behind it) Game 3 = DT expand, NesTea reads him like a book and it does almost nothing. One gets into the base through the back rocks and gets about 6 kills, NesTea baits Inca out and then gets a huge ling runby to killl all the probes in his main...and then just kills him with 2base Roach/ling aggression. Game 4 = Forge fast expand into DT's. NesTea is ready for them and they do nothing. Inca goes blink with upgrades. Nestea takes masses of the map, constantly denies the third (initially with Roach/ling), then transitions into huge amounts of Muta (like 17 at once) and destroys Inca. --- NesTea just dominated from the start, Inca had absolutely no anwers to anything and just looked helpless/hopeless out there.

I mean Nestea would have won anyway but with those builds there's not a Protoss alive on the planet that would have taken a game off Nestea. I read an interview from Slayers ( i think it was Slayers min) and they talked about losira's roach/ling pressure against 3 gate expand. He said the team had a discussion about it and concluded it was a very good counter to 3 gate expand , but that the delayed lair made it weak against DT expand or stargate expand. So I guess that's the reason he went for DT builds , but either the execution was really bad or his preparation was just not good enough. I guess that would be the only thing that makes sense , but it's still shows that Inca doesn't know how to prepare for a match properly and how to handle pressure. He also stated numerous time that he was mostly making his builds on his own , trying not to watch other progammers, I think that's a big mistake, he has a full team to help him prepare with the likes of MC , why not use it?
