Its not like Drewbie is some low-tier player there. For what it's worth here's the numbers from TLPD: TLPD? You're kidding, right? How many of those guys would do better against EU's best? Although I'll admit that Fenix is probably up there as well, if we count him despite being originally from the LA scene. Possibly QXC and DDE. So that would make Drewbie roughly a top5 terran in the NA scene. I don't think thats too generous?
I think you guys are trying too hard. Being top 5 in NA is basically meaningless, let alone top 5 NA Terran. Idra and Huk are basically the only rays of light in an otherwise awful region. The worst part is that the top players in our region are also the most arrogant, self-entitled and vocal, despite not having the results to back it up.

I tried to open up something from this thread, and it sent me to a page warning me about editing others posts. It even said my IP has been sent to the admins!
"So it's time for our last opponent for Drewbie - this time he is not from the Ukraine but from Germany. NOW ITS GOODY TIME + Show Spoiler +"
The spoiler'd item is what I tried to open. Did I unknowingly do something wrong here? I'm sorry

If I had to play a TvT against Goody I'd probably kill my own CC too.

Europeans are also a lot scarier than US players in general anyway, and drewbie was just kinda outclassed here anyway

I agree. It's a clever way of conceding the match, if nothing else.
Though, I would have preferred a cross-map PF rush to truly go out in style

Being a professional gamer is a legitimate job, which comes with all the good and bad things any regular job comes. It's not all candy and rainbows as many imagine. When you have a job you have to do your best at all times to deliver results. "Not feeling like it" is never an option.
On that basis, Drewbie did not deliver. It's understandable he was upset, everyone has those moments. We are all human and make stupid mistakes. I feel that Drewbie's apology was needed and he delivered it to us, his fans. Thank you Drewbie, I accept it. It may not mean much in this avalanche of posts, but I want to let you know it was the right thing and it was well received by me.
On the other hand, I just find it hilarious

Yeah, this is how "professional" this scene is outside of Korea. No wonder they destroy foreigners in every tournament they enter.

so wait, what exactly happened, did he kill his own CC at the start or was it an accident like mma's.

I was once a fan...but this childish display has turned me against you. I read this in the iNcontroL dramatic voice.
Ding ding ding. But seriously....in a televised match? At least TRY to show a little class in honor of your new organization.

Playing goody could make any Terran wanna hang themselves with a short rope in a coat closet. Keep fighting drewbie.

tilt modes happen, especially in tvts. Just copy that one terran from bw, who switched from terran to zerg if his opponents were terran. I wish though that more terrans would play tvt like goody ^.^ i just love watching mech.

Except there is nothing blind about the hate. Endrey put on this show match to get viewers and Drewbie leaves in a way that makes you wonder if he is a professional gamer.
The fact Endrey had to go search out and find Kas and tefel to fill the time says something. Thankfully he took it in stride.
I don't think Drewbie should be crucified. He simply acted like a child and showed something about his character as a progamer. This doesn't mean you should hate him or not watch him play etc.

Terribly amateur and immature behaviour from Drewbie. Ironic how he was claiming to take sc2 serious and more of a business just before this..
|
Have to say. The part I enjoy most is that he pulled this stunt right after joining Complexity as well. Way to make a team that is already fighting to improve their rep in the Starcraft 2 community look even worse. They must be thrilled with their recent acquisitions: CatZ, Drewbie, no KiwiKaki or Slush, and now the guy they acquired goes and pulls an unprofessional stunt like this with his new coL tag. lol.
Well, usually people include SelecT as being an American Terran now right? At least you guys sure use him as an "American" when it suits the whole foreigner vs Korean argument. So therefore, I would think SelecT stands a way better chance against the Europeans than Drewbie does.

With all respect Sir... that was LADDER... And? It's not as if he wasn't trying, in fact, on his stream (as I opened it after the second game was over), he was raging hardcore (ie. "FUCK can't believe I just lost this") so he seemed quite into it. There shouldn't be a massive difference between ladder and tourney, to be honest. There is huge difference between ladder and tourney you cant even compare it
Yeah huge difference and Drewbie is raping shit left and right in every tournament. Good joke!
