Whatever the reason may be, it's really strange to see dignitas go down in 2 straight matches without using naniwa.

And still he was the much better player in this game. Such a horrible game by Select.

sigh. Cruncher playing like a dumbfuck lategame, but select can't really capitalize on army advantage when protoss has 35 gateways + chrono and 4 robos producing

Edit: Select didn't play well either but cruncher got a big advantage after he got away with a really risky late robo build

I havent seen naniwa all day. And given how good he is, seems strange.

dignitas fault for sending select, he plays rather bad the last weeks

col in finals is rather surprising as lineup wise there are better teams :3

Well, col has 1 huge advantage: in a Bo5 series system, they start +1 due to 2v2 dominance. That's what's getting them through. But, they came prepared for that.

He just played it wrong. He let cruncher take the game AND command the actions even with the less mobile army. Select was just.... bad...

You're right, with your impressive tournament results you could easily represent your team for the past 2 days more than any other player on dignitas. And it's definitely not crunchers fault that he keeps suiciding retardedly small armies without suiciding the probes to just kill him.

Starcraft 2 isn't my profession. It is for him.
Cruncher's strategy obviously works for him against a over patient type like Select.

He was playing very conservatively because if he lost that game to something he wasn't prepared for, his team would be knocked out of the tournament. As observers you have to remember that select doesn't have the vision we do, he probably had no idea that 109/200 of crunchers supply was all probes.

Cruncher can take out Morrow with some abusive builds imo.
Not in a straight up game tho.

Wow,I did not see complexity taking it up to the finals.
I think not playing Naniwa cost Dignitas too much,he would have propably won vs Crunsher and it would have ended at 3-0.
That and the retarted bo3 2v2 (which is super boring),where coL has the advantage over pretty much everyone.
That being said,I can not undestrand Select's decision to go for Tal'darim, that map is a heaven for mass gateway toss, terran can't match their warp-in mobility and ends up being overwhelmed, excactly like it happened on that game. T.T

its not the gstl format where the winner plays the next game, if it was then complexity wouldnt even be here :>

why are so many people trying to tell select how to play....

and Im pretty sure cruncher was purposely throwing away armies because it was quite obvious he had already won.

He doesn't want to play with the Eu ---> NA latency.

He won because he stacked 5k minerals...

He was massing gates and managing the economy side quite well, his engagements were just a little lackluster but he could afford it because he had 5k minerals.

Yup, select missed his 5-6 minute window to win when cruncher was still on like 110 probes
