So I was literally the only player left. Also -- since we knew we were 100% guaranteed for the playoffs, and we were already +2 points for the match, why not!

Lol, they should make it a rule that the manager of the team plays the ace match.

This is probably the best idea of all time.

Fenix logged off after the 2v2, but you don't give any reason he had to go. If you knew he was the only player around for an ace match, wouldn't it have been a good idea to have him stay online?

I feel sorry for Sixjax, whether this was a purposeful throw or not.

This is why Knock-Out style tournaments is preferred over group play.

If you can't get real players to play your matches, you have failed as a manager. Like that situation would ever happen if Fnatic needed a win to qualify. So, yes, you just "actually" threw a match.

"Why not"? Because its unprofessional. Because you must show respect for other e-sports organizations, their fans, your fans and your sponsors. Because its not OK to throw games, screw over a bunch of people and laugh about it. If coL wants to advance, make them sweat for it, like you would in any other round. That's what respect means.

Will there be a tie breaker between sixjax and coL now? Kiwikaki is the one that won 2 of their matches and he's not even on coL now

We were already in the playoffs. Not my fault. It's not like we know the results of other clanwars when we play. Why would I go chasing my players when we already were a lock for the playoffs. Didn't matter for us, so I played it. Not like I tried to lose. CatZ is just much better than me.

Yeah it seems strange to me. Fenix was in the 2v2 so he knew it was going to an ace... and it's not like they weren't in communication they were in the same game together :/

Makes perfect sense for MSI to lose. col is a weaker team than sixjax, so of course it would be better for col to advance. Of course it would be hilarious if this bit them in the ass and then MSI manages to lose to col in the playoffs...

stuff like this happens

if a NFL team already clinched a certain spot in playoffs, they rest their starters and play the reserves

you haven't seen kobe, lebron, brady or any top tier sportsmen miss games at the end of the season when their playoff spots are secured?
