To clarify my previous statement:

The first set was a great play, and Nestea should be commended for his ingenuity.

The second set was, by definition, an all-in. A very well timed, well calculated all-in, but NOT a cheese.

If you think that was a cheese, then stop listening to HD who often gets the two terms mixed up.

LOL so true, look at all the zergs trying to defend how much their race sucks after that game.

Its rather pathetic.

It was a fucking cheese, dude. Relax. If anything, it's indicative of Nestea not wanting to play a longer game.

It wasn't cheese. Anypro didn't do a safe build (0 cannons) and Nestea punished him for it.

Heck even Artosis didn't call it cheese. It's not cheese to attack your ennemy if he decides to leave you a opening for 2-3 minutes before he becomes unkillable

Nestea moves out with hydra ling, sitting outside anypro's natural, baiting a few forcefields.

As Tyler (and me, but well, I'm not as credible or influent) are saying since a long time (me longer than Tyler, I'm such a boss), protosses builds stayed so unpunished for so long that they shifted to greedier and greedier over time.
I mean, the build anypro made was teching to stargate, then to robo, then robo bay, without canon. This is standard ! But this shouldn't, because no way such fast tech should go unpunished. But it went unpunished for months. Now the zergs know how to punish it, but they downplay it because they have to "cheese and allin". But as long as you won't punish those builds 100% of the times, protosses build will not evolve and we'll stay in a bad statut-quo.

And Nestea hydraling bust again ! And anypro finds a way to counter it, wow.

Jesus Christ are people really this dense or am I being trolled?

You're being trolled, for sure.

How is ling/hydra an all in when he still had money to expand, as well as he saw there was no colossus?

Attacking at any time without 4 bases is now an all-in, apparently.

If that push doesn't kill the opponent you're on 2 base with pure hydraling against colossus tech. That's a total all-in, that's like saying 2 base colossus timings aren't allin because you can skip a warp-in and grab a third - sure, but you're super behind for no benefit.

You are on 2 base Hydra-Ling against a Protoss who has only enough income to make nothing but Zealots and Colossus.

"2 Base Colossus all-ins" with only 1 base with of income to reinforce doesn't work

I'm confused, I would include "killing the natural" in terms of "killing the opponent". If that build doesn't do serious damage you're a long way behind ie. it's an allin.

You don't know what you are talking about. At all.

You have to explain statements like that to avoid looking foolish.

All this "IF" he held that. There was absolutely no way he could've held his nexus with what he had at the point Nestea decided to go for the push, even if survived the attack.

With the nexus down, worst possible scenario they would have been even with possibly a minimal eco advantage for Nestea.

This translates to -reactive- timing push, it was not an allin, kk.

do you read the shit you type? how was that build all in? I would love to hear you explain it to me.

set 2 was all in. He would have been behind economically if toss had held that without losing his nexus... If anypro had gotten a fast colossi for example, that build would have gotten smashed and anypro would have won.

The thing is he cannot hold it off without losing his nexus, he had zero cannons and a really low gateway unit count nestea was poking constantly and it was not all in, it was well calculated and had nearly zero* chance of failing.

edit: *

Exactly. It wasn't all-in, it was just the day9 build: Just go freakin kill him. There was basically no risk envolved in this situation unless nestea was bronze and did something really stupid.

I've been trying to argue this forever with people but apparently (according to them) it seems like risk have nothing to do with an all-in. They keep repeating the mantra "unless he does damage he loses" when it makes no sense to call something an all-in without taking the chance of it working into consideration. It's just a difference in viewpoint I guess.

Nestea just containing anypro with huge pressure. Making him waste forcefields.

He's in the zone tonight.

Phoenixes pick off Hydras and he holds it pretty easily but lost some stuff.

Nestea reinforcing with some more Hydras but i don't think he has enough.

Just so people know, Phoenix are OP. Oh, they are bad because hydras counter them? Nope, doesn't look like it!
