Here come the powerhouse EU terrans to own it up. Loved the production of season one, only let down was the player pool but that will change now.

With top 8 from qualifiers I hope there won't be to many random players qualifying. And by random players I mean players who got lucky in this one qualifier but are overall not consistent and don't have a big name which makes them boring to watch :C

I'm also wondering why every tournament uses Crossfire, even tho so many pros hate this map and think it's horrible for Zerg.

Anyway, I'm really looking forward to this. Didn't watch Season One cause it was NA only but only heard good things about your production

Hm, shouldn't you rephrase your thread then? I read it as what matters is whether you have an account that is Masters or Grand Masters on one of the servers, and it has nothing to do with the whereabouts of the individual player.

Yeah I just edited it, sorry if I was unclear!

Yay

The first tourney had like 10-15k viewers on each day, and thats AFTER the tourney was leaked.

Easily can probably break 20k this time.

Is there a maximum number of registrations for each qualifier? 1024 normally.

That is up to the either one of the players. A stance was taken in the EG Masters League because it has to be done at some point.

And I can only say that I fully agree with Nazguls last post to IdrA in the original thread. If you haven't read it, then there's a bit of different reasonings for this whole matter. We were told by Colbi that the reason EG could not accomodate us in request of serverswapping was that it'd be logistically too hard to make happen if a player did not own an account on the other servers. A reasoning, I didn't understand, however I can fully understand the perspective that has been brought to attention by IdrA and how you choose to market yourself. But that is just not the reason we were given prior to the official announcement.

Especially since with a qualifier like this we should get better players involved.

Sucks that sheth isn't going to play tho .

Just to clarify: this is for Americans only? @__@!

• Player must be in a Master or Grand Master league on the North American, South American or European ladder to participate.
• All games must be played on the North American server for both the qualifier and the main event.

Whoops, I thought I corrected that, thanks!

So if oGsMC or STJuly gets into Masters league in North America during these upcoming days they will be able to participate?

No, you must be living in EU/NA/LA to play.

So you have to live there - a citizenship of a country in EU/NA/LA is not enough? That basically means that HuK and Jinro can't participate.

Haypro too.

TL can still send Tyler, TLO and Ret. Hopefully all those players try to qualify.

I really think the format for TSL qualifiers is better than this one. I mean a player who finished top 16 in a all qual. tourneys is probably more deserving of qualifying than the one who just had a lucky draw and finished top 8 in one tourney. Unexpected outcomes as a result of being put in an 'easy' bracket will be a lot more frequent here methinks.
