for the first qualifier its a 2048 bracket starting bo3. given that the bracket gets filled up there will be A FREAKIN HELL LOT of games! i mean. its even bo5 from round of 16 on (and obviously bo7 in the final). some go4sc2 cups take up to, whatever, 6-8 hours? at least back when i watched them. and it was bo1 until round 6 oder 7 there. this tournament is gonna take multiple days! :D | ||

I do not have the same issues with my EU account. I am master on both so would it be okay to fill in the EU account or is it better if I don't fill in anything at all? Thanks. | ||

I wish IPL and NASL would work together to broadcast at different times though. This isn't that big of a deal with the VODs provided, but having to choose between two flavors of awesome is difficult ... | ||

Broadcasting: So the main event games will be played 11th to 19th... "Targeted Date is Thursday, July 14th at 8:00pm EST" means that youll broadcast the finals on that day or will this be the first Day (in the Season 1 thread you mentioned that the production time was quite long - and ipl2 will have way more matches, so i guess thats when it starts?) Any more infos on the considered broadcasting schedule and for how many weeks the matches will be streamed? (actually hope that its similar to TSL, just twice as many games per day cuz you have double Eli...) Prizes: I really hope that its a flat payout... Don't give too much money to the winner, it doesnt matter if its 10k or 25k, its huge anyways... But we want SC2 to be really pro, so we have to make sure that as many players as possible can make money by playing... Qualifiers are obv a great idea, as we see it worked pretty well in the tsl too. Casters not so sure - but well, everybody needs a chance - as long as we get some experienced and good (and therefore probably already known casters for the Final rounds^^) All in all... Awesome News! | ||
