The shot of Inca being pressure and sweating for his amazing comeback is just why GSL>any other leagues. Live tournament shows so many more emotions about the players than the sit at home tournaments.

This. Yeah, yeah ladder and tournaments aren't the same thing but some of his tournament games, his play looks questionable.

It's 100% nerves or being uncomfortable in the booth. This isn't an excuse for him, obviously he's going to have to get used to playing in the spotlight against top tier players if he wants to really make a splash in Korea.

Why do we have to be nice to anyone. If you're not a fan of that person.

Are major league fans from one city supposed to like the other teams from other cities. Should I cheer on a team that has taunted my team. Just because my team didn't make it to the play- offs. I would hope that other teams loses. Its part of the competition. A player that hypes himself and then can't produce will eventually get bashed. If he does well, then we go back and say hmmmm maybe he is all that and a biscuit.

If I am not a fan of that person why can't I hope he crashes and burns. Its a sport. If the PR for that person stinks, then it stinks. The sponsor should rectify it. If the sponsor doesn't get involved then they are the ones losing out. Sponsors are in it to win it. Of course they are here to help the team and sports, but they are the ones that will rise or fall on the back of their players. If their player is doing badly then the manager needs to step in and take charge. That's why they are the managers.

For people to say "Why do we keep bashing this player?", I ask you why not. Should we all be a fanboys of everyone. I can't be. If the player we hate does make a amazing rise, why can't we wish for his downfall.

This is a growing sport, there has to be good guys and bad guys and winners and losers.

So if people want to hate on certain players "Why Not?"

If you want to defend your player then "Why not?"

But to say don't bash him"He is going through a slump." then he to either needs to sh*** or get of the pot. Not up to us to fire him, but its up to him to realize it and either step it up or find a way out.

i.e If I hate Dallas and love the Redskins, why cant I root for anyone that plays against Dallas (its an example)

My point in summation, is this, Fans telling other fans not to hate on their player is ridiculous. If they are in the public eye then they will get public scrutiny. If the sponsor allow their players to run around unmuzzled then the team pays.

because, you moron, when you hate on players of Starcraft 2, it gets back to them! you can hate on whatever american handegg team you want, the players will never ever hear of it. but if you go into HuK's stream, or the LR for a day he played and insult him, he will see it.

and just because football fans are immature, doesnt mean we have to be. By definition, this community is a tight knit one, and trying to create divisions in it through HATE is NOT a GOOD thing! or maybe you weren't aware that hatred = bad?

So, I want HuK to win and July to lose, thats fine, so i want to scream GOGO HUK! in the LR, thats fine. But saying 'July is a pathetic sack of shit and didnt deserve that win' or something similar is NOT fine. It's disrespectful, immature and idiotic.

so if you want to be one of THOSE people, i request, kindly, that you GTFO until you learn to post with a modicum of respect.

that is all

IdrA code S success repeatedly, question mark?

And whatever, it doesn't matter who he lost to; Code S is Code S. Thats the level of play of players in Code S. If he can't keep up (and im inclined to say he isn't Code S yet based on those games and recent performance), than he doesn't deserve Code S.

idrA was in korea years though. Also, idrA was in Code S before it got as crazy as it is now. Who has he beaten that can be put on the same level as inca's PvP or a Julyzerg?

In GSL Jan, before he left he 3-0d a group with Nada, Genius and Clide.

wow just watched that last game between inca and rain, what a hilariously awesome match. I also don't get people making jokes like "code D" and stuff, yes mistakes were made but if you were in either of those situations you would either gg or be able to do nothing. Awesome skill in my opinion

Ensnare, Check, Nada, Genius, Clide. All reliably Code S standard players. Huk hasn't beaten anyone yet, he actually looked pretty shaky in Code A too. He was really unlucky with his Code S draw no doubt, but lets not pretend he has some god given right to be Code S, because he didn't exactly destroy all before him in Code A.

I don't agree that all other foreigners wouldn't make Code S. I think there's quite a few who could definitely make it like White Ra, Dimaga, Naniwa, SeleCT, maybe some others it's really hard to say as people like Kas, Thorzain have looked good on ladder/online tournaments but done nothing of note in LAN's yet. The real top, top players like MC, MVP, MKP, Nestea and July are probably a step above the foreigners right now but the rest of Code S certainly aren't.

Rain's nerves must have gotten to him. Enormous pressure. Obviously if this were just a casual ladder match he would have won that easily. I feel bad for the guy.

And who has HuK beaten?
So far in Korea he's 2-0ed a horrible zerg
Barely 2-1 a mediocre zerg
0-2ed vs a good Code S zerg
0-2 vs a good pvp protoss
2-1 vs a now Code B player, and one of the games was really lucky for HuK
0-2 vs two Code S players, who are by no means the best players in Code S.

The games from Rain today were pretty impressive, considering the fact that neither of his games vs. Inca were all-in and he could have easily one both of them! (Inca has been vouched for by Jinro to be a great player, and is certainly no slouch from what we have seen).

I think we undervalue Rain a bit too much here at TL. He is not Finals quality, but he is definitely Code S material, and anything up to ro8 could be possible for him.

Rain just played at a Code Z level at the end there. That was truly hilarious. I accidentally clicked on my Liquibet before seeing the final game and saw that Inca had gone through, but when I was watching the game I thought someone must have made a mistake considering Rain obviously had the game won. Wow.

Also, though Huk lost both games, I thought he played fairly well. I never expected him to make it out of his group anyway.

Against July his build was also well timed and thought out, he was so close to beating July several times and I feel like some decision making threw him off in the late midgame, and he wasn't really prepared for that kind of strategy.

No you're wrong. HuK is loosing because he doesnt have as good of a understanding of the game as the other players. He is lacking ALOT of fundamentals and is really only equipped with tricks and micro and that simply aint got to cut it against strong fundamentals that people are now starting to accuire.

It did cut it early in the SC2 stage because noone really had strong fundamentals because it wasnt possible to have that at that stage.

To stop falling further and further behind HuK needs to get real and stop thinking he's a top player and work on the fundamentals instead of trying to equip himself with more tricks.

His fanboys needs to get real too btw.

Once he comes to some realisations and falls down on earth he might be able to turn it around because he seems to be a really driven and inspired SC2 player, but he has ALOT of work to dig through once he does.

Considering the best foreigners (except Jinro maybe) haven't actually tries to qualify since Idra (who was successful) I don't see how that means anything.

Really disappointed in HuK. It's PvP, sure, but everybody knew that if he lost to inca, he was gonna fall to Up/Down. It's a huge match that's gonna decide your code S fate, and you decide to DT rush? He would've been better off just 4 gating.

Sad times, especially with up/down being so stacked. We could very well see the end of foreigners in Code S.

Virus playing very well doing a nice build against anypro the first round. Really impressed and hope to see some more top Terrans making a name for themselves in Code S. MVP, Jinro, and MKP have been the only real strong Terrans for the past couple of seasons though with Ryung, Bomber, and MMA coming up, Code S is going to get very scary.

I spoke about when they gave them seeds and for those who have tried to qualify. None were able to get through the first round except Huk. Insult him all you wish but he beat players who are very good whether or not they are named MVP or MC or whether it is some lesser known player. Code A has very few rejects anymore. Last I checked Huks win % was about 53% in grand masters league so i would think that is pretty good. Is he top 5 or 10 in the world? Not yet, but he definitely deserves to be in the GSL. And thats not something most foreign players could maintain.
