I think we undervalue Rain a bit too much here at TL. He is not Finals quality, but he is definitely Code S material, and anything up to ro8 could be possible for him.
I'm sorry but i totally disagree. If this was typed in really broken english, i would go on to further say it was Rain who posted that LOL. That or you are a troll.
First game vs Inca, Nothing happened other then Inca throwing the game to him, Rain didn't even leave his base. Inca lost that game, Rain didn't win it.
Second game was just LOLs, Inca once again lost himself the game(from bad unit control like the first game) but for some reason Rain really wanted to lose more and let a DT take him out when he had many scans from both OC's and quite a large army.

If I am not a fan of that person why can't I hope he crashes and burns. Its a sport. If the PR for that person stinks, then it stinks. The sponsor should rectify it. If the sponsor doesn't get involved then they are the ones losing out. Sponsors are in it to win it. Of course they are here to help the team and sports, but they are the ones that will rise or fall on the back of their players. If their player is doing badly then the manager needs to step in and take charge. That's why they are the managers.
For people to say "Why do we keep bashing this player?", I ask you why not. Should we all be a fanboys of everyone. I can't be. If the player we hate does make a amazing rise, why can't we wish for his downfall.
This is a growing sport, there has to be good guys and bad guys and winners and losers.
So if people want to hate on certain players "Why Not?"
If you want to defend your player then "Why not?"
But to say don't bash him"He is going through a slump." then he to either needs to sh*** or get of the pot. Not up to us to fire him, but its up to him to realize it and either step it up or find a way out.

My point in summation, is this, Fans telling other fans not to hate on their player is ridiculous. If they are in the public eye then they will get public scrutiny. If the sponsor allow their players to run around unmuzzled then the team pays.
because, you moron, when you hate on players of Starcraft 2, it gets back to them! you can hate on whatever american handegg team you want, the players will never ever hear of it. but if you go into HuK's stream, or the LR for a day he played and insult him, he will see it. and just because football fans are immature, doesnt mean we have to be. By definition, this community is a tight knit one, and trying to create divisions in it through HATE is NOT a GOOD thing! or maybe you weren't aware that hatred = bad? So, I want HuK to win and July to lose, thats fine, so i want to scream GOGO HUK! in the LR, thats fine. But saying 'July is a pathetic sack of shit and didnt deserve that win' or something similar is NOT fine. It's disrespectful, immature and idiotic. so if you want to be one of THOSE people, i request, kindly, that you GTFO until you learn to post with a modicum of respect. that is all
So, you're saying, it is OK to yell at people and call them names. This is exactly what I'm talking about. If we don't agree, I am now a moron. If I don't agree with this post then I must leave your forum. I believe this is also a immature feeling.
I disagree with your sentiment that individuals on a team do not feel the backlash. They do and they are accountable.
I do agree with you that getting on a guys stream is immature to go and hate, but again he is on a public forum. If the person is trolling then he should be banned.
No matter the player gets money from the troll being on his stream.
You speak about respect, but your tirade displays a heated love for your player as shown by your tag. This is a growing sport that has sponsors and teams.Being well mannered is a given and should be the norm.
Your lack of control with your language is perfect. Is this the way you feel I applaud your enthusiasm. A tight knit community is fine, but now we are growing. However, lets not be elitist and say we must act a certain way and if we don;t agree then we must "GTFO".

To stop falling further and further behind HuK needs to get real and stop thinking he's a top player and work on the fundamentals instead of trying to equip himself with more tricks. His fanboys needs to get real too btw. Once he comes to some realisations and falls down on earth he might be able to turn it around because he seems to be a really driven and inspired SC2 player, but he has ALOT of work to dig through once he does. Dude... he lost to Inca, a PvP specialist and July, a GSL season finalist who has looked good against the best players in the game. He almost had July beaten and if it was not for that ridiculous FF against Inca that game MIGHT have gone differently. I think you need to wake up.... all the other top foreigners cant even get out of round 1 of code A and he qualified for code S. Sheesh. I hope July makes it to at least round of 4. He is exciting to watch.
I think you missunderstand. I'm not talking about his results today at all.

a suggestion from me if you want to root against somebody why not root for who they face rather than bash them every game? You know just to keep things on the posotive side

He was running a big gas surplus at points and bringing in high templar probably would have done it there, especially against July's low drone style. But July is awesome, so losing to him is no shame.
I don't think this was good zerg play so much as good RTS play. July is a really good RTS player, and his army positioning was beautiful, basically forcing a base trade he was perfectly prepared for. That wasn't a zerg style against a protoss style, that was an RTS player out-positioning his opponent. Given how horrible that map is for ZvP, where everything is one giant choke, I was astonished and impressed July won.

Huk, Inca, Rain...why this players still in code S when many good player stuck at code A. I think if they fall down to code A, they will lose immediately and drop out from GSL.

HuK can drop out of code-A at any time! Long term I dont think he will be able to retain a spot in the GSL at all (code S/A). He never managed to qualify but got in on a invite right? Must have been because he was the available foreigner in Korea, there are so much more quality around europe and america that could do well in GSL.

Huk's FF look so weak, he should stop making sentry because it useless for him. Rain style haven't change since few season ago...Im tired seeing his game. How the hell he get fan in korea -_- Inca look promise and then boom.. super blunder and again, blunder after blunder in every game.

Yeah i really think Huk needs to go the path of Idra and focus on all the tournaments going on in the NA/EU scene

Idra doesn't have much success after left GSL as far as i see. I think they need to improve their playstyle, not by playing more game but put more thinking in their play.

He is exciting to watch. Considering the best foreigners (except Jinro maybe) haven't actually tries to qualify since Idra (who was successful) I don't see how that means anything. I spoke about when they gave them seeds and for those who have tried to qualify. None were able to get through the first round except Huk. Insult him all you wish but he beat players who are very good whether or not they are named MVP or MC or whether it is some lesser known player. Code A has very few rejects anymore. Last I checked Huks win % was about 53% in grand masters league so i would think that is pretty good. Is he top 5 or 10 in the world? Not yet, but he definitely deserves to be in the GSL. And thats not something most foreign players could maintain.
I think, based off the recent results at MLG, TSL, Dreamhack and other major tournaments, some of the winners at those tournaments could do decently in the GSL. People like White-Ra, Kas and Naniwa look like Code S to me if they had the same environment as Huk and Jinro
Though I will say that the team that was fielded at the 'World Tournament' was hardly representative of the best, only White-Ra and Dimaga are those that I'll consider the elite for non-koreans

why is anypro called the simpson toss?
+ Show Spoiler +I really don't like Rain either. More like RainbyRain, so 1 dimensional and such bad decisions. Funny how inca played just as badly with an all-in. Can't imagine they are on the same Code S level as people like in IM or July or etc...
