Learn to deal with imbalance? No, they simply should remove that part of the game. Kinda like what most tournies have done.

Kinda seems like lovecd got his builds reversed, forge-expand with the huge natural on xel naga, 3gate expand on shattered. Worked out for him, as he really was quite close to taking a 2-0 win. Time to see what game 3 brings.

Sky one of the very top (probably #3 on the all time list next to Moon and Grubby) WC3 pros for those that didn't follow that. ToD better , fanboyism all the way^^ Hard to say, Sky won more big events, and owned ToD in human mirrors almost every time. ToD was better vs. Night Elf though, and they both dominated Orcs in their prime. Sky never became really good vs. NE during the course of his career, but I don't think that detracts from his play. When he first emerged in the scene he was kind of a legend killer, defeating all the top players at the time with his new Human strats. But he faded away more quickly than Moon and Grubby. To be fair, the best Humans in recent years have been people who could be considered his proteges - Infi and Th000, both of whom are much better vs. NE (esp. Infi). Without a doubt Sky is #3 on the all time list being the pillar of chinese esports for many years, that's not even questionable.

I don't get all this moaning. Shit I play zerg. Every time I get close positions I cringe. 70% of the time I lose. Yet I suck it up and move on. TL whines.
I'm sure that Nestea knew that there will be close position possible so he could of not accepted the invite to play or tried to convince the organizers of the tournament to change it. Otherwise, if the player agrees to play on these maps, I do not understand all the moaning about it.

you don't make a living of sc, unlike he does

agree on these maps? you make it sound like they have a choice
they either have to play or not play, and saying they shouldn't play if it's unfavorable is a stupid argument
the game should be as balanced as possible, what is your point exactly?

Forge expand on another wide open natural? so weird
|
Ah crap, close positions again.
|
Glad to see Nestea taking a really early third this time vs forge FE.

You make it sound like they don't have a choice. Do you think that if Nestea (one of the biggest stars of the game) declines the invitation because of the map pool, the organizers of the event will be happy? I think not.
I think the whole point for them is to have these big names play in the tournament and will try to cater to their requests.
You make it sound like Nestea will get fired by Gygabyte if he does not play on crappy maps.
And my point is that everyone knew the map pool, yet there is still whining about it.

Anyone has a rundown on the results thus far?

not from Nestea, from the observers. I don't care if Nestea gladly agreed to have the games decided by rock-paper-scissors instead, it would still make for worse entertainment and I'd bitch about it.

All Lovecd does is mass stalkers.... =.=
|
Nestea losing badly to mass stalkers.
|
Another zerg dies to the blunk
|
Sighhhh, Nestea losing to who I feel is a far inferior player.
