Give credit to TZ for busting out the mech at the right moment though I'll give him credit but that still doesn't mean I don't think that game was disappointing to watch. I hate seeing games 1 sided battles like this in SC2 because unit composition is so important over micro skills at times.

He destroyed Tyler and MC, not just because he had fancy timings, he just simply outplayed them. Hard. I'm sure thorzain will be giving kas a hard fight, especially since his micro is absolutely mindblowingly amazing and his decision making is incredible. With more TvT practice I can see thorzain being the best foreigner easily, hes already dethroned Jinro from being the best swedish Terran

It's not hard to get upgrades :/ Anyway I didn't say his mechanics were bad at all, I said not notable. Many players have similar solid mechanics. Not many have MC's mechanics.

On the other hand, it's Kas' first offline tournament, so I suppose he's really nervous. and that tournament started 14hours ago so no surprise that he cant play 100% after such long time period (not surprised mc can, since he doesnt do anything but play from morning till night)

Just judging from the games that I have seen, (Rakaka and a few others), not impressed. Kas, on the other hand, impressed me a lot in his NaDa series. Sure, NaDa played like crap, but Kas played beautiful games. I'll happily eat my words if Thorzain can beat him straight up.

Those 2 storms that did so little to the vikings may well have been the difference.

That's fine if people were saying Kas TvT is amazing, but they are saying Thorzain's TvT is his weakest matchup. That could be the case but I doubt the majority of the people here have seen more than a handful of Thorzain's TvT against competent opponents.

MC sure had awesome mechanics, having 0 upgrades for half the games and apart from the tal'darim game he had subpar macro, and I'd like to see anyone under hard pressure still pump out scvs and upgrades which requires you to not queue a shitton of units but still have enough to defend, while microing his army to defend against said pressure

Mos def. I seriously thought Thorzain was gonna get rolled 3-1. I don't think I've ever been happier to be wrong. Even if Thorzain hadn't taken the serious, he would have made me an instant fan. Definitely gonna be looking for his replays and casts from now on.

Thorzain may be overrated for now as we haven't really seem him play live yet, we have yet to see Thorzain crack in pressure ^^. Other than that Thorzain with incredible mechanics quite impress I am. What's unfair for MC? He could've watched Thorzain vs Tyler where Thorzain used the exact same styles

That said I love Kas and he can play a lot better, it just seemed like MC was a bit disappointed with himself after his TSL performance and took out all stops to perform well in this LAN. I'm sad we didn't get to see his strong 6gate push in the last game vs Thorzain.
