The real pros don't use ladder a lot (hence XiaoT and lovecd's amount of games played on ladder), and there aren't many of them, so the GM is not a very accurate representation of who is good. Also: 92 Toss 63 Zerg 60 Terran In GM league, how that would add up to 200 I never know. To put into perpective, only really WE.GIGA and Nv are pro clans, the rest are amateur clans (legacy, etd, linyu). | ||

I would LOVE if Idra could go to Shanghai, I learnt how to play zerg from him, if he met any players in the Ro8, I would definitely be a traitor and root for him instead of the Chinese players lol. But XiaoT, out of all the Chinese players he impressed me the most( also because I heard his name many many times when I was still following WC3 back in 2006), and I'd say if one Chinese player has the ability to take home the championship it's Xiaot.  Why do they have to meet JUST before the Lan event....makes me a sad panda. | ||

Now the foreigners are pretty quick to jump to the conclusion that "oh the Chinese are doing well because they have lag advantage" (which is actually a flat out lie) Hmm . . quite the double standard here. The Koreans (for the most part) played like crap in the TSL. The Chinese played amazingly in Starswar. The foreign community needs to stop being so pathetic. | ||
