Would have been fun to see him in the semis. If either one of Idra and Morrow goes through I'd be happy again though.
Do we know what server these games are being played on btw? I skimmed through a couple of pages without finding anything.

Do we know what server these games are being played on btw? Yea but Lovecd has won me over with those awesome games vs Dimaga. Also the server is based on the location of the players, they tried to minimize server favoritism as much as possible.

![]() Good to know they try to be fair, a sign of a well-run tournament I'd say.

The patch just hit chinese server today and I'm downloading right now. Those archons were still 2 range. 2 to 3 range is HUGE. I can't believe the new archons (I play on China so I just got the patch today too). Edit: Just checked, that game WAS on 1.3.3.

(WE.Gigabyte.Lovett) From my understanding, WE is HUGGGGEEEEEEEEEE in the Chinese scene. They partnered way back when Prime was still a startup. So Prime at the time probably had more to gain. That's 100% speculation but that would be my guess.

I think its because the tournament is Chinese, so the two main names for them would be WE.GIGABYTE, and since prime isn't exactly a household name in China... By the way, I lost 1-2 to rank 37 grandmasters zerg :< DAT BANELING BUST UGH.

Their Zergs seem a tier behind, while they have virtually no competitive Terrans (except Loner, who hasn't been that competitive lately). TylooInfi is the best Chinese Terran on sc2ranks and I'm pretty sure Infi hasn't switched from WC 3 to SC 2, so that's a pretty sad statement on Chinese Terrans.

There seems to be a general consensus for WC3 players to play protoss as it is the most micro intensive and WC3-like race... Most top players here are indeed protoss, then zerg, and there are barely ANY terrans. You will also see blink stalkers 80% of the games. Its sad that there aren't many terrans in the server, but I guess thats good for me because TvP is my best matchup and TvT my worst lol. The thing with terran is that there is no demand for the race... The skillsets from WC3 don't translate into that of the terran race mechanics, unlike that of protoss'. Loner ain't even a WC3 player, and Infi isn't a SC2 player. In short, there is almost no terrans in the top of the ladder here.
