White-Ra and NaNiWa both didn't have legitimate excuse for their behavior. They knew NASL and DH schedule beforehand and should have planned accordingly. You already have a player abusing your leniency so we are past slippery slope here. Although I don't know the exact rules for NASL but I believe not showing up to scheduled matches and causing your opponent wait for hours without a good reason warrants a warning, and DQ if it happens again. You're going to DQ the winner of the most recent MLG and probably the best protoss outside of Korea? Give me a break. So you're saying they're above the rules? No, I'm saying NASL can be flexible. No, if you red my earlier posts, I said I was spaking from a spectators point of view (as a viewer) If you read my earlier posts, I said I was speaking from a spectator point of view. How do you know, do you run it? People, there are 25 series being played every week, which all need to have the NASL Observers in them as well. Think people... it's not simple "flexible"

Um, I thought it was starting now finally? But no stream x_x

Naniwa definitely needs some kind of reprimand for his behavior, that's just downright disgusting and disrespectful to the league. White-ra could have had a multitude of reasons for missing the match, but the forfeit was deserved and the decision was perfectly valid, he seemed to have the means to play and he didn't. The overall decision in my opinion was fine with White-ra, but Naniwa deserves some sort of penalty in addition to his forfeit loss, that was disrespectful to the league and his opponent.

Naniwa is a total douche, I hope he gets DQed he hasn't shown anything innovative at all. He is not bad he just doesn't deserve any extra respect especially if he is going to skip out on the fans.

Maybe its OK if they maphack too? NASL is allowing TT1 to play in league even though he cheated in broodwar, etc. You should take a break from this thread, you just continue jumping to new extremes. After having knowledge tossed at you many times.

What's up with Nani's drama?

Maybe you think TT1 should be disqualified for past behaviour, but it's absurd to draw parallels between that and the current walkover situations. They have nothing in common.

You are the director of operations for NASL. This is BIG. So much sweat and blood went into organizing this event and now it's finally here. You went through processing hundreds of apps, coordinating with broadcasters, staff members, funding, scheduling, technical issues, audience outcry, managing players, governing streams, and every fine detail.
White-Ra doesn't show up. Some poster at TL says "YOU SHOULD BE FLEXIBLE!". Only if they knew.

It would make sense if they were being played live on a schedule, but as they're recordings, they can just start with game 2. The delay is due to technical problems, doesn't have anything to do with the W/O.

Is it really 2 hours from now that the stream starts?

Lmao realistically speaking INcontrol has no chance Ensare is one of the most solid terrans in Korea

Where did you see the two hour delay notice? Does that mean it's going to go live in an hour then?

A four-fucking-hour grace period isn't "being flexible"? You must be a ballerina because in my opinion, that's pretty damn flexible. Just saying.

I was pointing out how leagues have been flexible and starcraft in general. If you look at the FPS community, there's a zero tolerance for cheaters, but starcraft and NASL are more flexible when it comes to these types of issues.
