Top two is suddenly going to be really challenging, but they should still be able to make the bracket round pretty easily. I feel bad for WR, and will be rooting for him to bounce back. I can't lie about Naniwa though, I feel no sympathy for him, good as he is. Ditching out because you're tired is a bit ridiculous when JulyZerg wakes up at 4 in the morning for his match. He could easily go to bed around 7-8pm...which would give him a full nights rest.

Have you tried going to sleep at 7-8pm when your body is used to 4am-noon sleeping cycle like a lot of college kids and those progamers?

White-Ra: i think this was given a little too much wiggle room, like an hours worth. there first up so you can bump em to the last slot giving 3 hours grace. i think the framework is there though. if NASL can reschedule the game within the bounds of their recording time that is the most flexible they shoudd ever be. if NASL chose not to fine him i think just the loss is fair punishment. Naniwa: i want to see a fine here, maybe multiple fines(one for missing his match another for lying to organisers). thats what the player fee is there for. he didnt just fail to show up, he lied to organisers, got caught doing it and all becuase he didnt properly plan his attendance at an event he was not competing in. either leave early and play at home or stay later and organise an alternate location to do your games.

We DO have a really ambitious schedule though so if players aren't communicating with us it will be really hard to cut them huge amounts of slack. Please know this league cannot exist with a bunch of w/o's so obviously we above all else want to work out how to solve this and we are on it! White-Ra and NaNiWa both didn't have legitimate excuse for their behavior. They knew NASL and DH schedule beforehand and should have planned accordingly. You already have a player abusing your leniency so we are past slippery slope here. Although I don't know the exact rules for NASL but I believe not showing up to scheduled matches and causing your opponent wait for hours without a good reason warrants a warning, and DQ if it happens again.
