Kiwi, Naniwa, Kas, Thorzain and now Happy (look him up in sc2ranks).. they are absolutely destroying the foreign ex SC1 players in every tournament.... any theories? Well if new talented RTS players are to come from somewhere, I would have expected it to come from WC3 since it is a much newer game.

SSKS is sloppy, blah blah blah" ....I just don't understand-_- please show something before trash talk.. I'm not impressed with MC's play either (never liked his style), and Ki Soo is playing sloppily at the moment. I'm also a much worse player than Nony. It's called an opinion - and it's up to YOU to agree with or not. Obviously, my opinion is worth less than Nony's, but that doesn't mean that Nony's shouldn't be taken with a caveat either. There has been TONS of commentaries throughout the BW years from Day9, Artosis, Nony, etc. about progamers who were 10x as good as they were (one that pops into mind atm was Savior vs. Bisu - Savior received a lot of criticism from many). This is just in the microcosm of Starcraft - ever watch any professional competition, ever? Why does this terrible argument keep popping up?

Problem is Tyler's been in a slump since the beta started.. dunno people says it's because he WOWs too much... I think it's just because there is a lot more competition in SC2 as opposed to SC1. In other words, overrated.. he's still a fine fellow though, very likable guy.

Happy just transitioned to SC2 a month ago but looks promising with a 94% w.r. and #1 spot in the global ranks Actually no, inform yourself please. Kas has no major win in any tournament, and if you're counting Go4SC2 as a major victory, then I don't know what to tell you.

His form just isn't good right now imo. I'm shocked at Nony's performance, however, especially given the fact that he plays P, and PvT is a good match-up for him (see his previous games against Strelok). As for those saying Thorzain has any chance against MC - sure he does, but MC after his poor performance in the FXOpen has tweeted that he's taking foreigners much more seriously, so I doubt there will be an element of surprise anymore. Those who think otherwise are misinformed. whaaat?? seeing that white-ra managed to win a game in the teamleague in korea, I had hope he could at least win some maps or even win but it was pretty much obvious that thorzain could defeat tyler easily.

He wins almost every tournament he gets invited to.. just look at his stats, it's not his fault he can't travel to US and compete in LAN tournaments.. but what is your point? is there a better terran in europe at the moment? Kas and Thorzain are a clear cut above everyone else.

I'm pretty sure White-Ra was expressing his frustrations. Yes, he has been one of the most respected gentleman of starcraft for a while, but you have to realize that he is still a human and there will be times when he can't hold back his anger and ends up resorting to sarcastic comments. Considering what he recently said about 4gate after losing to San, Hot_Bid's interpretation on this case doesn't make any sense. Thankfully for White-Ra, he has years of excellent reputation built up and there is no doubt he is still generally a very good mannered player. With that said, he's been throwing a couple of little fits lately after arriving in Korea and I certainly hope this is the last time we'll see something like this from him for a while.

Why does this terrible argument keep popping up? because saying you aren't impress with his play doesn't make much sense. He has won 2 GSL and has proven himself. He can't be who he is by not showing impressive play. People who say they are not impress come off as more of an MC hater than an actual analyst of gameplay.

Seriously, do a bit more research before responding: Series in which Ra got owned up 2-8 (with both victories coming from 4-gating): series Ra also lost the first game against an IM B-Team Zerg who I've never heard of: here All happened AFTER the Teamleague showmatch. Edit: Again, I hate trying to pile onto Ra like this, but he's just in bad form right now, in my opinion. Doesn't take away from the fact that he's still a great player, but those who were surprised by today's result against MC are a bit misinformed imo.

Yes, there were two one sided sets but the way they were won, it was a overwhelming performance by both of the winners and i think the community should esteem this perfection. This is the first time I saw that games were planned out perfectly beyond the usual openings AND their follow ups. This was the next step of SC2. Agree completely. In any competitive thing there are always going to be walkovers, it shows the game has a well defined level of skill which players are able to demonstrate. If every game was close it woudln't be as good to watch in the tournament as a whole. Gogo MC, I love how he has taken the 'coinflip' matchup and totally dominates it ![]()
