Followed by Tyler whose upgrade gateway style will never long term be good. 3/3 against 0/0 might work out well, but when they keep up with you in upgrades even without ghosts they level your army. Not really a test of skill just almost a flop on tech choice. When he faces an opponent that isn't lagging or choosing a weak strategy then we can claim him king.

I'm saying I'd like to see him be badass just hasn't really proven it to me yet. Beating Tyler who is very good is nice, but that double forge BO was proven easily countered. I actually would like to give him the crown though so many BO's for him very nice to see. Perhaps his next round will be just as amazing though. Edit: Plays MC next. That would make this very interesting since even if there is lag MC is the supposed best player on the planet which should overcome any lag. If thorzain doesn't straight early pressure with 3-4 rax every game this will be interesting. Looking forward to it.

Westerners not giving him credit, like usual. White-Ra takes 1 game off him in the GSLWC using an unorthodox strategy and suddenly everyone feels foreigners are equal to him. Not the case. I'm sure he'll lose in TSL due to lag, sadly.

Basically, everyone was feeling "Oh someone has a chance". But if you watched the whole GSLWC for team matches, it was pretty insanely close. Especially when TT1 and Dimaga did so well. Although MC is pretty much *should* be unstoppable, we can still see that he has nerve issues, and he might tend to be worse when he's overconfident like vs. MKP.

Clearly "the gap" is closer than most initially assumed but I was mainly commenting on the casters and their bias.

People always love to give wins to an opponent playing poorly as opposed to them playing well. Thorzain looked crisp as fuck, and Tyler's play would have beaten many other Terrans in this tournament. Thorzain is dope as fuck.
