I'm certain that heads will roll in the MLG board meeting next week. I'll still support them though. This is their first event of the year and I expected it to be a little bumpy. (not this bumpy). I truly hope that they can turn it around in Columbus, for their sake. I don't want to think what a second catastrophe of this proportion would do to MLG. I hope people don't withdraw their support from SC2 using this weekend as an example. On the SotG with Sundance, he said that the biggest issue was selling SC2 as the next big thing. Obviously they got onboard with it, but something like this weekend might make investors (and/or sponsors?) skeptical.

I don't want to attempt to watch the stream. I live in Dallas and don't want to go watch it live. It all sounds quite terrible and frustrating. I do want to watch awesome Starcraft games. I think replays are the best option for me. Can someone make sure there are no playernames in the filenames and just label them by round? Also, throw in random games and name them appropriately for game 3s that didn't exist. I think a lot of people would greatly appreciate such a replay pack.

Obviously they want the stream to run perfectly but I think a lot of their effort is spent on the on-site preparations for the fans that are actually there. Then again, GOM runs things smoothly. It seems like MLG would have had enough time by now to get all the streaming issues worked out, but I'm sure they will get it down eventually. It's just unfortunate for all of us who are not there. They've only had a couple years.

Yep. The hallucinated void rays from game 2 won game 3 for Huk, too, really -- Idra was pissed off enough about that that he lost to a warpgate push.

I didn't really expect to dedicate my weekend to watching over the shoulders of players on 19 inch monitors with no sound. MLG really fucked up in every way possible. For the brief periods of time I've been able to watch the stream, I've actually watched more ads than gameplay.

I think his point was that the fallout from the hallucs caused HuK to also win game 3.
