Why does anyone ever go Baneling on this match? Isn't Roach a lot better?

Maybe I'm wrong here but European zergs do tend to favour the banelings over the roaches i a lot of games, moreso than players from other regions. That's the impression I've got from watching different zergs at least.

Baneling openings are pretty popular in Korea as well, thats why we occasionally see those *sarcasm*epic*/sarcasm* 40 minute baneling speedling wars. But I think their only reason is to counter fast mass speedlings off of 1 base. But if both players expanded, don't know why don't you just get Roach anyway.

Banelings just dont work, they can get roaches out in time.
I feel im being abit ignorant on the situation at hand, can someone explain why dimaga went for blings yesterday and today ?

it's pretty much rock paper scissors i think,

Nestea slapping Dimaga around. such a freaking pleasure to watch Nestea playing ZvZ.

I thoroughly enjoy watching nestea play zvz even though its not my favourite matchup its alwlays a pleasure to watch nestea play it with perfection. When someone is so good at a matchup that they have gone undefeated over months and months its hard not to be in awe.

im not a fan of zvz but i always enjoy watching nestea play it because hes just so good at it.

I don't think he is ZvZ god. You can notice that he always does the same build which he really mastered and it's very effective. I would like to see how he does on long macro game vs. dimaga.

Doesn't matter how you'd do in a long macro game if your knowledge of what do exactly do early game is simply so good that you win early every time.

Someone explain why you would want to go baneling nest instead of roach warren EVER in a ZvZ? It always fucking loses. Makes no sense how people keep making baneling nest first and keep losing vs roaches.

It owns speedlings

He was down 3 drones and based off the unit or production tab he actually had more roaches.

Damn, it seems it's not that even when games are Bo3 and Koreans are after money and title. It is not yet over but... I don't see Dimaga winning two games in row now.

despite how well world team played in the showmatch it was still showmatch and bo1.

When money and glory and more sets comes into play it's always a different story.

San beat White-ra, it was just a coin-flip matchup.

Such foreigner bias in here its making me sick, or ist that supposed to be sarcastic?

Lets be honest, when WhiteRa beat MC he did it with a strat that MC had never seen before, its not like he just played so much better.

Let's be honest, that warp prism play was pretty amazing to watch. Seeing him pick up his zealots and drop them on MCs stalkers was pretty fantastic as well. Please understand why someone would get excited about non-standard gameplay when we're forced to watch 4gate v 4gate pvp almost every time.

So get off your high horse, is it really making you sick? Your life must be soooo dramatic.
