Does anyone think the Koreans are losing to the foreigner underdogs because of the time difference? Are they just a bit too tired?
These games aren't live. They were played at a time agreed to by both players. Time difference shouldn't have any effect on the outcome.

No. QXC is in Spain. Both games were on NA.
But he did get get outplayed.

Can someone translate MC's twitter comments? If they're in the banner...

Nestea has still been performing pretty well lately, hopefully he can pull this off! Expecting a really epic series.

I love MC, his tweets reveal he has respect for foreigner player while also nurturing his health ego.

the key events from that game that caused qxc to win (and no not lag)
1) constant harass (doesnt matter if qxc only killed a few probes everytime, the fact that qxc was everywhere meant genius had to constantly retreat his army/pull probes/put back probes on minerals and gas. this affects a player more than you think..
2) relatively good emps the entire game, although i think the main point would be that whenever genius engaged, his ht were trailing his main army by a bit too much, so when they eventually joined the fray, most of his ground units were already wiped out by qxc's mm. Even though he did cast very good storms, ht without ground support will not win you the game
3) genius not ending the game when he was at +40 supply versus qxc. again i think the constant harass by qxc made it impossible for genius to move out. but if he had moved out, hed probably have ended the game right there.
4) better upgrades by qxc and overall better refined strat. he went into the game wanting to go into lategame, and went into the game knowing that drop and reaper harass will be very good on this map with the 4th base and the back end of the 3rd being quite far away from where a toss main army would be situated

I am a protoss and i was cheering for qxc there :D that was an awesome game.. So epic.. The reaper/nuke play was badass- Hopefully more upsets by 'non korean progamer' to come-

High Templars were all stuck behind the engage the entire game. Shouldn't they stay closer to the zealots charging in? Then again, everytime QXC does a drop, he MOVES his WHOLE FREAKING GROUP OF UNITS OVER. You blame poor unit control on lag? Well played Sir.
Ye, worst was when like 5 archons got stuck behind the stalkers and couldn't even get into the battle. I never liked Genius and I'm even less impressed now.
Nestea will show all who si boss though

Other way around I think, Cloud in WB, Check in LB

QXC games took place on NA server, as far as i know QXC is still in spain so he would also be lagging.
can anyone confirm this?

He lost to Check in the WB and to Cloud in the LB backwards, lost to cloud in WB, lost to check in LB i believe Ah, could be true. I never looked at the bracket. The Check replays came out first so I assumed they were from the WB :D

Am i missing something? is lag now only one way? Im not being rude i really dont understand it
I thought lag hurts both sides. It hurts the most the spells that require a delay (storms delay). but overall its a pretty even handicap

So far, in the games between players in Korea and players outside Korea, the foreigners have won 6 games to the Koreans' 2. Maybe you can put that to lag issues or whatnot, but I think that the notion of the Korean scene being vastly superior to everywhere else is proved false.

Great ghost usage by QXC nonetheless and cheers Did you miss the game with Adelscott vs MVP?

I hope Goody makes nothing but tanks the entire game!
