Baneling bust off 2 bases is absolutely retarded and overpowered against any FE build who doesn't include fast hellions or fast siege tanks (which is a shit build anyway except for holding and punishing baneling bust). It turns the early game into a coinflip. People calling Morrow "hyper aggressive" or thinking he played well are wrong because anyone, even a silver league player, can pull it off. This just shows how this game is too much about chances and all in and not as skill centered as WC3 and SCBW. I'm very disappointed at SC2.

It is tiring to see every tournament thread on TL turn into a QQ for one of the races when the game has not been out for even a year yet. Much worse is the fact that the people QQing are not in the level these games are being played at. So, most of the minor factors that go into deciding these games is lost on all of us (including me but that is why I never QQ).

I have no idea why we cannot accept that the players want to win 15K and will do anything they can to get it. But, hey, I am throwing stones at brick walls here, so whatever.

I would love to see 2 more games like the game two instead of two boring baneling busts, regardless of the outcome. No doubt MorroW is a good player but there is no skill shown here.

Pretty frustrating tbh.

As a Protoss user, I'd like to clarify some things from a relatively unbiased perspective:

Baneling busts when you cut workers at 35 is similar in cheese nature to 4gating for Protoss. Both builds punish early econ builds (disregarding PvP). Relate your personal feelings on the 4gate to this, that is how a terran feels for Jinro.

2-rax bunker pressure, on Xel Naga where you can not block the ramp, or hit the natural from the bunker location, is not remotely cheese. That is harassment. Also consider that Morrow went hatch first. Zergs who credit Morrow with punishing Jinro's econ build have to understand Jinro did the same thing on Xel Naga.

Game 2 went to the late game, Morrow was outplayed handily by Jinro, even after he got that huge break of catching all the siege tanks out of position. Jinro is a better macro player (not to take away from Morrow) and thus Morrow was strategically adept in punishing Jinro's econ builds before they could get him to where he is most effective.

I am happy for Morrow, devastated for Jinro, and my liquibet is ruined. If you're tired of seeing people QQ indefinitely, bump this post!

morrow does it vs jinro: "such a noob he can only banelingbust", obv not knowing that morrow is a macro-oriented player after all^^

huk vs hasuobs was 50/50, game 1 was better by hasu, game 2 better by huk - game 3 was a bo win as most pvps are on any skilllvl - and huk didnt scout.

Im speechless. Jinro used a greedy opening and morrow just exploited it perfectly with the baneling all ins. He knew Jinro couldnt move out anytime soon and he even had time to make banelings to know down raxes in 1 hit. Well hopefully after this Jinro refines this build or just stops doing it altogether

The perfect way to counter what happened in g1 and g3 would of been to go 2 fac blue flame hellion 1 with reactor and other with tech lab.. easily would of roflstomped what morrow did.. but jinro way to greedy l

The high economy baneling aggression is really hard to stop when terran drops that early cc, Jinro made a big mistake in letting the delayed drone scout into his base to see that command center. He should have dropped an earlier supply depot (delayed his orbital by 15 or so seconds), proxied it off to the right and floated it back, or delayed building it until he was sure he could deny the scout. If Morrow doesn't see the command center I really doubt hes going to commit to that build (unless he thought he couldn't beat Jinro otherwise but I have a higher opinion of Morrow than that).

For those of you saying that Jinro should have just gone hellion, Morrow knew he wouldn't because he saw the cc (he didn't really have enough res to get enough hellions out after that). If he doesn't see the cc he doesn't commit to that build.

I don't understand why so many is bashing Morrow for doing the right thing. If you just leave a terran alone to cc first like that the mule design will put you as a zerg in a terrible spot. You cant just drone hard and take a fast third either because the potential of 6+ rax worth of marines could be on the way any second, or super fast tech of 4 gasses. It wasn't as fun to watch as I expected, but still Morrow did the right thing. Jinro did the right thing by bunker rushing in the second game. The placement caught Morrow with his pants down, and that was the game. Same thing. Greed should be punishable, or else its just stupid. Some say Morrow almost came back when running over those unseiged tanks, but it didn't really matter, he was still way behind.
