Today we have the Czech Republic's finest, eSuba, taking on one of the best and most accomplished teams in the US, Evil Genuises. Both teams are tied with a record of 4-3 but EG has 3 more points than eSuba putting them at 5 and eSuba at 2, so this should be a very close match!
eSuba has a small and tight roster that has proven that all you need is a few good players to succeed. Their player Predy is the most accomplished with a record of 8-5 he has been a force to be reckoned with. Their protoss player Lopata has also been performing quite well so I expect we shall see EG up against a pretty good challenge here. eSuba has already taken out EG 4-1 in the first week of the season, following that up with a 4-2 win against root, proving to everyone that they have what it takes to compete here and win it all!
Evil Genuises is perphaps the most well known US team due to their players IdrA and DeMusliM but the rest of their lineup is more than capable of taking on virtually anyone in the world. After getting off to a rocky start this season losing their first two games, EG proceeded to take a close 4-3 win against ROOT and then only drop a match to Empire and then continuing to win all their matches. Their top performing player in the SGL has been one of their Warcraft 3 converts, the one and only Strifecro with an SGL record of 8-3. Next up performance-wise is another WC3 convert, Axslav with a record of 7-6, proving that this pair of players will dominate any game that they put their mind to!
The winner of this match will go on to face one of the best teams in American ESports, ROOT Gaming in the semi-finals. The other quarter final match is between Fnatic and Empire and the winner of that will go on to face ONE in the semi-finals. All in all its going to be a great play-off season with every team very capable of taking the whole thing which should make for some great matches!

eSuba Statement: When we met Evil Geniuses for the first time, I have to say, we were little lucky. Anyway we won and it's a truth we wan't to win again. I think EG will prepare better this time and they won't underestimate us again. With Idra back from Korea they have really strange line up and if they come with their best we can't win. But we will try to win and I still trust we have a chance.
EG Statement: This first playoff match will be very difficult for us since eSuba is a highly skilled team, but we're still confident we can win. I hope that we're able to produce some great games and I would like to wish our opponents the best of luck.

|
ahh probably but it's too bd they wont be using idra

eSuba wins cause no idrA?

GL guys, I think that eSuba will take it again. EG miss their great players and in my opinion incontrol is out of shape these days because of his activities. I would love to see playing IdrA, Demuslim and Grubby

Let's go eSuba! PredY will take this one down. Calling 4-1.
|
idk, we haven't seen machine in awhile in the SGL he might be able to take a few maps
|
|
|
Looking forward to this, eSuba has some good players but I'll still call 4-2 in favor of EG.

It's unfortunate, but shit happens. Asking for a postpone for a playoff match last minute is too much to ask.
