Nothing really excuses his poor performance tonight but he is, deservingly, a Code S player. Still, this was the worst series ever. Actually, Tester made round of 8 ONCE, failed to qualify for GSL2 and 3, and made Round of 16 last season (and this now). I feel that that is deep. He was beat by MVP in last season 3-0 and Rainbow in GSL 1. He failed to qualify for 2 and 3 yes. Round of 16 this time - say what you want about the quality of his opponent but those are deep rounds. I mean, look at Idra, a great player - a top 3 Zerg (arguably?) and his GSL runs are no more impressive. There are tons of good players who don't win, it's a tournament. This is too funny to be trolling, so I'll assume you're serious with it.. Idra's qualified for GSL every year...how is that "no more impressive" than only making it twice? I halfway agree with the point you're trying to make, but the comparison was a bit silly.
Yeah, I sort of regretted the comparison. I guess that I was trying to say that, as good as Idra is, you can't expect him to pull into the round of 8 consistently. This basic point and courtesy should be extended to Tester.
Also he made it three times. There have been 5 GSLs. I don't know, I think that is impressive.

Genghis Khan, Hannibal, and Caesar playing Starcraft Brood War. Could you guys imagine? :D

Even though TSL_TricKsteR vs sCfOu is bad ~ protoss died to cloak banshee~ terran lost due to trying to all in SCV marines in huge map ~ Terran and protoss 2 base hardcore and wait for 200/200 without trying to expand ~ I do find the commentary entertaining to listen to . I laugh somewhat through out the entire game.

All 3 FD, SKS and ITR were from other teams and moved to TSL after GSL1, maybe TSL is not managing to work their talents well. FD and SKS were both from oGs on season 1, dont remember Rainbow (ITR/Hope_torture) team back in GSL1

That's kind of weird, when you think about it. Well considering all the upsets...
I'm not sure what that implies. That balance discussions should only be limited to the top 16?
But I'm just saying it's interesting, is all. Some people act like it's literally impossible for Z or P or T to win games, most notably Idra, who actually said the words "It's literally impossible for Zerg to win" on SOTG last week or the week before. It's just worth noting that this game is really complicated, and personal skill, even at the tippy-top levels, can be a deciding factor that overrides any balance issues. Even if a race is UP (and now everyone's saying their race is UP), is hasn't got to WC3 Undead levels*
For reference.
GSL 5: Either 3T, 3P, 2Z or 4P, 3T, 1Z (depending on Kyrix vs Anypro) GSL 4: 4T, 2P, 2Z GSL 3: 3P, 3T, 2P GSL 2: 4T, 3Z, 1P GSL 1: 4T, 3P, 1Z
There has yet to be a GSL Ro8 with one of the three races completely absent.
*I don't follow WC3. I apologize is Undead actually can be played at a high level, but I was under the impression it couldn't

Should have stayed with oGs, goddammit. Wait what? What kind of question is "wait what?" If you want to ask a question, ask it. Don't make me ask you what your question is.

I was thinking more of San vs the Wind, where San didn't do much with Colossus (which some pro-gamers like Idra think is too strong), but people act like he didn't deserve to win because he's Protoss. We saw this times 10,000 when Ret lost. It's a general statement.

Why is Ensnare expoing to the third first? That's...weird. Lyn could cut in at the natural.

According, to a Gsl interview the gas at that 3rd expansion is actually a High yeild gas.
You get gas 1.5 times faster from that geyser.

If ensnare doesnt do something in the next couple minutes Lyn should have a good advantage.
