Even if the Hellions couldn't, it's COMPLETELY IRRELEVANT because the marines being dropped would have overwhelmed the 5 marines there and then the elevated Hellions would have still killed all the SCV's

The marines were there to stop the drop, but they got toasted because the hellions were able to shoot up a ledge.

Units that cannot shoot into the air should not be able to shoot up a vertical edge. Hellions can't attack air units.


This is a ridiculous argument. You're making the extremely flawed "game-world physics should be logical" argument. This game is an abstraction. Units have infinite ammo. An arbitrarily large amount of units can pop out of a single building. These things don't make sense, but they're allowed because it's a video game.

All ranged units can hit up a ledge. The game was designed around that mechanic. If we turned that off all of a sudden, that changes the entire game.

I can't believe some guy actually called you out on your really bad complaint about why BoxeR lost and got banned for it. If you seriously think hellions shooting up cliffs is not balanced, you are playing the wrong strategy game. He made a mistake, hes not a god, the game is not out to get you.
