As always, the haters have to whine about one opponent cheesing the other, as if early rushes or hidden plays aren't completely valid strategies- especially against the best player in the world. There's absolutely no reason why July had to play a *respectable* 30 minute long macro game vs. MVP. You see an advantage, you take it. You think you can win, you do it. This is a tournament, where money is on the line. July already has infinite respect from his Brood War days, and now he should have more for beating MVP. The ends justify the means when it comes to victory in SC2 (unless we're talking about straight up cheating, and we're not). Yeah, I'm disappointed that the best player got knocked out. But I'm disappointed with MVP; I'm not going to blame his opponent for seizing any opportunity he could to win. That's just ridiculous. Congratulations to July. And MC. Period. | ||
