He might've expected VR/colossus, which is usually pretty zealot heavy as far as support units. Granted, the ovies would still melt pretty quickly to the void rays... I'm not really sure.

To be fair, said terrans got their skulls caved in during GSTL.
MC outplayed July utterly there, can't take that away from the player.

Yay for quick break. Hope the GSL popularity grows even more and those breaks get filled with ads that could be entertaining (also more mooooniez into e-sport is great!).

The phoenixes were beautiful and crutial, MC constantly checked what July is doing, first the hydra, then checking the third and then checking if july tries to rush to hive by checking the base again. If July would have tried that MC would have just ran in there. Meanwhile the 3 air units force corruptors out and MC harassed the third and expanded himself.
The build was incredibly streamlined by MC.

Too bad terrans got massacred in GSTL so that confidence backfired hard. Terran had the lowest win % in GSTL at around 32%, even tho there were more terran than toss+zerg combined.
