the applause seemed a little sparse - anyone attending know how many people showed up for the tourney?

Thebeardtv, there was about 30 person following the semifinals there but it was as crowded as the place allowed it to be. And there was around the same amount looking at the players straigh but the set up allowed only to see half of the player's screen and even there, only few people could get confortable spots. (watching 10m away a game behind the back is kinda useless) For the final I dont know because I had to live to the last train home.

You got that right but in reverse. It is more like, many others good players dodge Ret in earlier round. Ret and Huk are slighly better than the best in EU rightnow. If not for the unstable PvP matchup. Its very likely that 2 Liquid will meet in the final.

Aswell as mavens incapability to utter a complete sentence, nothing less than disastorous coverage, props to the awesome guy doing the production though pushed it over the edge to being watcheable. glhf.tv always has the best quality/running stream and the most awkward commentators since the beta. I was also bummed out by the coverage, especially after Totalbiscuit didnt get an invite to the 2nd tyler game int he mornign and basicly later went down completly... too bad, seems liek it woudl ahve been an awesome tournament if it wasnt for that.... grats to all the liquid guys and especially ret. Dominant liquid performance again, so love it,

Dominant liquid performance again, so love it, I thought the coverage was pretty damn good considering they had casted about 13hrs a day consecutively and were casting until 2:30am. They still had to get home etc the night before so little sleep between days. Massive props to The Beard and casters.
