Fixed that for you.

Really wanted to see Huk make good on his prediction to win the whole thing, but Ret's just as exciting to watch. TL Fighting!

Congratulations Ret! You were my favorite from the beginning, really impressive ZvP in the semi's also - such a hard match-up.

I actually believe Adelscott deserved a spot in the finals! Adelscott looked a lot more solid through the tournament than Socke and tbh Morrow's series versus Socke didn't look very solid either, he just got lucky that Socke decided to play so risky (4gating is always a bit of a coin-toss and nexus first is just hoping the opponent doesn't respond at all). Not to bash Morrow by any means - he is definitely good, but if it would've been Ret vs Socke and Morrow vs Adelscott I believe we could have had a different match-up in the finals.

Overall the tournament was a fun watch, too bad the glhf stream had issues and there was unnecessary drama surrounding the casters. Personally I would've loved to get more TotalBiscuit action in there, he's just such a funny guy. I hope Assembly will get things right also in this section next time around so that E-Sports would progress to get a more professional look overall - I mean you don't see stuff gone bad like this when watching any other sports coverage, do you?

Good luck in GSL Ret, really hoping you'll make it to code S next season!

Congrats to Ret on the win!! Very impressive series and tournament run. Also congrats to Morrow on his tournament performance, definitely a worthy runner-up. Hopefully Ret can use this performance to springboard him in the GSL and make a deep run.

AdelScott's 3rd place comeback was sweet. He gained the most in my eyes this tournament.
Yeah, well, you know, that's just like, your opinion man

The feeling is incredible when you see live, all those player, surfing teamliquid between games. I really want to thanks every player who made the journey to Finland.
I didn't feel appropriate to bother you guys as I haven't really been active for many years but this was a dream come true.

Also lots of <3 to beardman and beardtv crew who welcomed us to there commenting pit to follow the game as the organizer of the event fail to provide any kind of set up for spectators.

I hope Day9 can make it to summer assemblys for commentating!

Very sorry about my disappearance guys. My internet connection just died for like 6 hours and there was nothing I could do. My thanks goes to the mod who updated the OP in my absence. I can't believe I missed semi-final 2 onwards T_T

Anyways, huge congrats to Ret for taking 1st place!

Good day!

Was rooting for Ret and Tyler. Then ToD and Grubby.

I wonder if winning this big event in Europe Ret is considering coming home and competing in all EU events rather than working his ass off for code A.

Not that I think Ret is undeserving of a win, he did have a relatively easy bracket and dodged most of the well regarded players except for the semis and finals.

Huge congrats to ret on first and morrow on second. Can't think of 2 players I'd rather have in the finals of this tourny.

Funny thing is, both started out relatively late (well, started zerg relatively late in morrows case) but at this point they are definitely two of the best zerg foreigners in the world.
