I thought the casters for glhf.tv were good enough, they weren't that awkward, but didnt seem like they had a very "high" understanding of the game, but overall it was still fine
but more importantly gg ret!

Aswell as mavens incapability to utter a complete sentence, nothing less than disastorous coverage, props to the awesome guy doing the production though pushed it over the edge to being watcheable. glhf.tv always has the best quality/running stream and the most awkward commentators since the beta. I was also bummed out by the coverage, especially after Totalbiscuit didnt get an invite to the 2nd tyler game int he mornign and basicly later went down completly... too bad, seems liek it woudl ahve been an awesome tournament if it wasnt for that.... grats to all the liquid guys and especially ret. Dominant liquid performance again, so love it, I thought the coverage was pretty damn good considering they had casted about 13hrs a day consecutively and were casting until 2:30am. They still had to get home etc the night before so little sleep between days. Massive props to The Beard and casters. I would say the production value by The Beard was good enough for TV. I seriously saw that setup they had with the minimap pregame and the transitions and stuff and thought that this would be something you could show to non-gamer friends and it would totally help them get in it. But the casters... well, I won't show it to any non-gamer friends. We need to get that production stuff (i consider it by far the best I've seen) and hook it up with the best casters.

What? They were extremely awkward and uncharismatic. Being geeky itself isn't awkward (see: Day9), but being geeky and soft-spoken is pretty much universally seen as awkward. The scattered pauses and sometimes incorrect statements followed by backtracking didn't help either. Great quality stream, but in my humble opinion the casting was extremely subpar.

Everything was great except that the casting was no where even remotely near the level of day9 or tastosis. I was actually surprised what a huge impact that had on my enjoyment of the games.
