But unless you are 10x better than your opponent at that, you can't overcome a serious deficiency in the metagame. What are you even talking about? Serious deficiency in the metagame? HuK doesn't have cancer. PvP Bo3 in which one player was surprised in the last game. Before then he hadn't dropped a game in the tournament. I'm really confused about what glaring flaw you see in HuK's play. Be specific, but don't write metagame twice and expect to be hailed as a scholar.

to the Huk vs Socke bo3: Socke won the first game because he had better control than Huk and in the last game Huk could have done better. I don't understand the hating on Socke. PvP is mostly all-in or cheese. I think a one base colossi isn't more interesting than cheese. I hope that the winner of Socke vs Morrow will take the tournament.

). What's the name of the girl casting in GHLV2? She has excellent English and an even greater insight of the game. She's really good. I've been kind of disappointed by the tournament organization, but at least, i have discover two good caster, her and the german guy.

I'm surprised you've lasted more than ~5 minutes before getting banned. Probably just wiating for an admin to read this post lol. Socke won today yes, and I'm not saying Socke is worse but even the best players only win 75% of the time and in a BO3 someone who's at that level has a very good chance of winning as well, not just the favorite. Plus, Huk agrees Eu is better than NA And if you want to go in the BW argument, who won both TSL's? Oh wait, a Canadian followed by an American. hmm

It's just like poker, and what do you know -- the poker and starcraft communities are somewhat intertwined. On a deciding game, on Steppes of War, there's a strong chance of cheese. I don't remember how many chronoboosts Huk used on his probes, but blowing them all on probes is very risky on such a map without first scouting for a proxy. I also think Huk was overconfident coming into this tournament, as evidenced by his unsolid play the 1st game. You'd have to ask him but my guess is he just hadn't played Steppes in a long time. That's probably true for every player in the tournament (including Socke) but with SC2's attacker's advantage, it makes a difference.
