You people saying the winner of PvP doesn't show who is better are seriously delusional. So any bronze noob can take a few games off Huk/Socke/Whitera? No? Silver noobs? Diamond noobs? Doubtful. Someone always moves faster and thinks more intelligently, regardless of how you feel the matchup is.

i can confidently say you dont play protoss

I can kindly say too many people posting don't understand how PvP works. There is a lot more to it than just 4 gating.

who's in Code A again?

Sry dude but there are no good players in Code A. If Huk makes it out of there it will mean something. Code A is for the likes of BitByBit.Prime

Also Socke has achieved more in Europe than Huk in NA

This statement about Code A says a lot about the parochialism of some people who only follow one scene of Starcraft. Just letting you know, there is SC2 going on all around the world, and just 'cause you only follow mid-tier low-prizepool EU tournies doesn't mean that the guys who win those are anywhere close to Code A material (ST_Squirtle, IMLosira etc. anyone?)

I can assure you I follow more than 1 scene of SC 2. In fact I have all the GSL vods on my pc. And pointing out 2 players does not make Code A good - the games played there were mostly cheese with some terrible fails. The players who were above the rest have moved to Code S.
If you were following the recent tournaments you would know that some of the best games were produced by players outside Code A - IM Seed, ST Bomber etc..

I dunno why Huk saying he was the best player there was bad. Nothing against the other people, but he actually moved to Korea and practices every day against the very best players in the entire world. He gets to practice with Nada, MC, TOP, Inca, and everyone in OGS. His whole life is Starcraft. He feels like he should be able to beat anyone due to the training he receives. There would be no point moving his life halfway across the world if he doesn't truly believe he is better than the people who stay at home and practice. Not saying he IS better than everyone at the tournament, but he's a very good player.

Also everyone talking about, 'Wow, Huk only got into Code A because he got seeded!' That is so short minded. Don't you guys remember when Jinro didn't even get into the Top 64 of the first two GSL's? Then he got into the third and has had BACK-TO-BACK TOP FOUR FINISHES. People like Bomber, who is considered one of the best players in the entire world by all the Koreans, isn't even in Code A! People act like getting into the GSL is an easy thing to do. It's all based on luck of the draw.

As you said, he six pooled every game. It was hilarious because he made it as far as he did with just one tactic.

Huk's every bit the impish prankster who loves proxying, people on the TL forum must just be unhappy that a TL player lost, imagine that.

how did he do in this tourney he took a few games off some people right? 6 pool?

Thats a bit trolling

Cant agree with you tho - Socke, Morrow, ret and Adel are deffinately top tier europeans.

I would place Socke and Adel 2 of the top 3 Protoss here (naniwa other), ret and morrow 2 of the top 3 zergs (Dima other).

I don`t think the Socke bashing is deserved. He may have chocked a bit at IEM but just calling him a cheeser is absurd. He has been an epitome for macro play and solidity since beta and apparently he finally worked on his PvP. On Scrap he also won a straigth up game. Besides, isn`t Huk also known to cheese a lot in PvP? Maybe Huk is the overall better player but saying that he only cheesed because he is sooo inferior is stupid.

Yeah.

Pretty amateur. Their micro was HORRIBLE. Lots of games, someone made a huge blunder... and the other player makes an even bigger blunder, and gives the game back to the other.. =/

But yep. Stopped streaming assembly. meh. Maybe it'll be more fun to watch next time. When it doesnt feel like watching diamond league streams.

Pretty ironic since these games are better than most of the Code A games you seem to value so highly. Stop being an asshole just because theres no Americans left and Huk lost to a European.
