Points were awarded to the players participating in GSL of the most recent month and the 8 teams with the most points were selected for the GSTL. Code S Player = 1.6 points awarded / Code A Player = 1 point awarded
The only thing that is known is the 1st map, which is Shakuras Plateau. Each team blindly sends out their 1st player, winner stays on, losing team selects the next map and next player. I believe teams are allowed to bring 8 players each night to choose from, obviously once a player loses they can't come back on that night.
I'm so confused. I heard the other day that Ganzi was no longer on IM(as confirmed by his Code A interview) and also that Cute had moved to MvP. Is this a clan/team distinction thing or did I just hear wrong?
It's something like each team chooses 8 players, and each player plays until he loses, then the next player comes on. First team to 4 wins wins. Means the superstars will matter most since they play until they lose. I'm going with Team IM. Put Mvp first in line, if he loses, NesTea comes in next. Unstoppable right there.

Is there going to be english commentating? Is there going to be a free version? (I heard it was 5$ awhile ago, don't know if changed.) Is it still Bo3 like GomTV says? It seems kinda stupid to have a team league that is best of 3 when each team has easily 5 people who can play at high levels.

Liquid/oGs hwaiting!!
Since Liquid isn't in it, mise well root for oGs! They didn't count Liquid as oGs team

- Tastosis - 5$ for VODs, free live. - Bo5 for tonight.

Wow all 3 of those were answered perfectly:-P Definately staying up for this.
The pinnacle lines have fOu as a 2.9:1 underdog (bet $10 to win $29). I find that somewhat hard to believe. choya and leenock haven't always been 100% solid, but they've had their brilliant moments.
After leenock's Code S/A knockout, I have a feeling that he went and practiced, hard.

Oh, right, forgot about that. Even so, I think fOu generally has a pretty good all around lineup. Sure, it's best of 4 but I can't imagine they lose this 3 out of 4 times.
Anyway, the real good matches are tomorrow. OGS vs IM? Yeah.

Imma watch. Still just k-pop vids for now, should be on any second now. . .
Interesting thing is, it looks like we can watch this in HQ or SQ without paying for the GSTL ticket? I was just about to pay for it, noticed the go live button was lit up, and High Quality stream was an option! Probably will go back to normal once GSTL starts later tonight.
I don't know if it's because I haven't heard Tasteless speak in a while, but it sounds like his voice is similar, if not almost the same, to his voice from his BW casting days.
I decided to buy a ticket for this since it was cheap,i don't really see an improvement in the stream quality. Still so much to be excited for tonight!

It sounds way different to me, you can tell he is a heavy smoker.

What's happening in Europe and what's stopping Jinro from going?

Squirtle vs Gumiho! Should be interesting! Hope Gumiho doesn't land up with P hehe, though that said he picked up an all kill in Zotac where he randomed a mirror for all 4 matches!

Its not OGS - Liquid, its just ogs. Liquid is considered its own team and isnt represented in the tourny, not enough points in gsl. Sadly means no Jinro from my understanding since his official team is liquid D:

Artosis just said that TL and oGs are considered one team in the team league.

Did it? i must have missed it. But in many other threads ive read Liquid didnt have the points and were labeled the "9th" team. :-/ would be epic if jinro is in tho. I hope im wrong!!!

Jinro is still in Korea. We saw him on the stream for the GSL5 group selections a few hours ago.

Considering Jinro was in korea about an hour ago....

I think in SOTG , Tyler said that their roster for Assembly will be Ret Huk Tyler TLO
I could be wrong ( or Tyler might have forgotten something but it's unlikely) or there is a change in plan but afaik those 4 are going which means Jinro staying in Korea with Haypro
my understanding is that torch is in ST. Hasnt be been traveling back and forth from korea tho? And just returned and is staying for a year? Im sure he just needs to get back into the practice game before he wants to rep ST. Also he is helping with the Gom foreigner house. Torch is baller ^^ There is a recent vid on youtube of the ST house, torch is there, sadly the vid has a terrable song with it D:

Wasnt this Random player in OGS for awhile? I would butcher the spelling if i spelt his name garimito? =o On the un recorded stream of the last team games, i swear he was OGS and nuked the crap out of his opponent. was an awesome game.
The official stream won't work and infact flags my anti virus, and all the restreams are being closed down. For a company who says they're trying to grow SC2 as an e-sport, Gom seems to be doing everything in their power to prevent just that. Anyone know any alternative methods of getting a stream?
Each team sends out a player, Starting map = Shakuras Plateau Player of the winning team stays on, losing team picks a new player from their lineup and picks the next map Best of 7
What happened to SlayerSLegalmind and SlayerSGolden? Golden might have gotten knocked out of Code A, but Legalmind I'm 100% is still in Code A (because he was in S last season)

It was GARIMTO, sc1 legend early on, and he still is on the team, just really more of a practice partner/affiliate
